I think Olave and DJ Moore make the most logical sense, if either is moved, for what the Bills need and would realistically be obtainable if Beane elects to pursue a WR.  DJ Moore is the guy I think would be the best fit of the 2.

I love DJ Moore but I think his 28.5 million dollar cap hit with a 30+ million dead cap number in 2026 makes that really hard to take on. I think the better move would be Shaheed or Olave. I think Olave is the better player and is on his 5th year option for 2026 but certainly comes with the bigger injury risk.

I doubt that is the case, but I do think that agents benefit from leaking info to Schefter. Ricky is kind of the Twitter/X influencer version of Schefter, so they probably leak to both. Schefter does actually have to make calls to confirm stories because he might lose his job if he is wrong too often, so Ricky scoops him because he has no such restriction.

If that’s the case, and Beane does nothing to at least attempt to address our shortcomings, this season will end just like all the rest have. We may win the division (though that isn’t certain at this point), and get in the playoffs, this defense is in shambles and receivers can’t separate consistently enough to win the whole thing. Even our wins have been a struggle.
