SC STATE NUPE Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) He’s really turning into Marty Schottenheimer right before our eyes! The glasses are the final stage of his metamorphosis!🤣🤣🤣 Edited 11 hours ago by SC STATE NUPE 7 Quote

They played great run defense and were physical on both sides of the ball. he was an excellent head coach who developed not only players but coaches too. its a shame he never made it to a Super Bowl, he was a much better coach than Dan reeves and Sam Wyche. Just had bad luck against Denver. schottenheimer would have Parcells legacy if he had Josh Allen for 8 years. if you want a more accurate coach to compare McDermott to it’s probably Jason Garrett. He is our Jason Garrett. Ironically it was McDermotts lousy defense in Philadelphia that broke the cowboys playoff winless streak to Garrett’s offense. after like a decade in Dallas the organization was taking away all his gameday duties and making sure he wasn’t calling plays. He never developed any coaches, just like McDermott. we are stuck with McDermott and his lousy defense jus like the cowboys were stuck with Garrett until the players basically revolted against him in 2019. That won’t happen here. 2 Quote

That won’t happen here. If Atlanta subbed Marty in up 28-3 they easily win that Super Bowl. Every huge comeback involves turnovers and bad management by the other team. Atlanta did all of that and still almost won if not for a phantom holding call taking them out of FG range up 8 with about 2 minutes to go. Quote

US Egg Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Those frames are in vogue, Jason Kidd wears a near identical pair. That being the case, I’m thinking $10,000 minimum. Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They work by enabling/disabling sunglasses mode by clapping. But he did not know this and it is causing him to lose vision during the game be because of how much he claps. Which is why Davis mills had so much success. Quote

thenorthremembers Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago He wore the glasses at points last year. They arent new. The Marty Schottenheimer comparison: Schottenheimer in the playoffs 5-13 McDermott-7-7 Not sure how it ends up but McDermott is probably closer to Bud Grant. Quote

I don’t even want to hear him talk anymore this year. When they win he says certain things that make me cringe and then when they lose there is no mention of that thing.. total nonsense. He sounded like a sad sack with no answers after the loss to the Texans Thursday. there is no excuse for the defense to be this bad. I give him a pass vs Atlanta. The team was decimated on defense that night. He doesn’t get that pass for the Texans game or going forward. we play the most pathetic run defense in the nfl. If McDermott was the coordinator under a head coach and the defense played the way it does every week he would be the one called on to be replaced. He just gets a pass here because the team would create so many takeaways and Josh Allen can make magic late in games. I have basically just had it watching this defense. 1 1 Quote
