Agreed…. But they just beat the Eagles.  Then flew across the pond (something that leads to piss poor play by a lot of teams) and held on to win.   They’re 4-2 with a stout defense.   If people are talking the colts and jags as surprising playoff caliber teams in mid October …you have to out Denver in that group

Teams keep hoping Fields will put it together. Doesn't seem likely.  

Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson can all throw the football. Justin Fields is actually getting worse as a passer as his career progresses. THe good news for them is that they can get out of it after this season. The headline was 2 Years, 40 million. But, like usual, the devil is in the details. All the money is deferred to next year, and they structured it so that it has easy dead cap hits in '26 and '27 if they can find someone to give them a 7th for him post 6/1/26.

Fan forums can display a lot of varying opinions, but at least a few over at Gang Green are contending that Fields would rather take a sack than attempt a throw, strictly based on Fields' personal stats.

Huh? They drafted both tackles in R1 last two years, took Tippmann in R2 a year before and Vera-Tucker in R in 2021 (+ Becton in 2020). They are doing everything they can to field a top OL.

Making it as an NFL QB at that height is the exception, not the rule. Here he is standing next to Joe Flacco. People in Cleveland said it looked like Flacco brought a Make a Wish kid to camp.
