To the subject at hand: interfering with the medical tent was a spectacularly bad move. WTF was he thinking? He's not going to change the neurologist's mind or speed up the evaluation. Daboll has poor self control, it is his undoing.

Daboll’s offense even at its max wr talent got locked up by a worse kc defense at times (twice in one year in 2020 even) .  I think a lot of this board really is falling for ‘the grass is greener on the other side’ type thinking 

Daboll had some absolute stinkers against the afc big dogs when in Buffalo 

A realistic name that seems interesting as OC if Brady leaves is Stefanski (if he gets fired). I don’t think we’d want Daboll back even if he was any good which I don’t think he really is haha

Will be interesting to see how serious they take this. It looked like Daboll was arguing with the independent neurologist on the sideline if Al Michaels correctly pointed him out. If a HC interfered with the protocol, could see fine or maybe even suspension. No matter it was a very bad look for Daboll. 

I dont think I've ever seen another coach or player for that matter enter the medical tent when a player was being evaluated.  

This will probably go as far as Jim Nance, Romo, & the commentating Ref that goes with Nance & Romo to call games pointing out during their call of the Bills - Chiefs game of those bad penalty calls  that everybody but the refs saw & the bad ball placement in that game .

Yes Dabol should be fined. No way he should be interfering with tent assessment. On the other hand with his job probably on the line and after seeing that pathetic Wilson pass attempt, I can understand his desperation!!

We don't know the whole story.aybe dart was saying he is fine and the independent neurologist in order to continue his work decided he should weigh in and make himself relevant.

Maybe I’m missing something.  What, exactly, interference was he responsible for?   He ran to the tent and poked his head inside.  That means he could be interfering.  He could also be asking “how’s he doing?”

 

If the point is he shouldn’t go there because people could assume the worst, I’ll agree.  If the accusation is he’s bad, dumb, unconcerned or trying to influence, i’ll need to see more evidence.

I don't understand why Russ is on the roster at this point. At the very least he should be inactive.  Winston should be the back up to Dart.

"The NFL" is the owners.  You think they are going to launch an investigation on Mara's HC if he just stopped by the blue tent to say "howzee  doin"?  That could have been confirmed in 2 minutes by everyone present, no investigation necessary no?

If there was some sort of actual significant violation (like he bullied the doctor into clearing Dart) the NFL should suspend Daboll for a period of time. If it was a minor infraction like he just checked in the tent when he wasn't supposed to then pay the fine. But if the NFL cares about player safety there should be stiff fines and punishments in place for when this type of thing happens.

Hernandez was screwed up before the NFL, but it's amazing that there were no red flags in the draft about him. Although the talent ceiling may have been enough for a team to draft him even if there was. Especially with the arrogance of the NE organization at that time.

 

The players have more scrutiny now. But even today, if the right person is bribed, a coverup can happen.
