Walking Tall Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’ll be honest. I don’t think home field matters at all when it comes to the Bills and Chiefs. I believe both teams are comfortable in the other teams stadium. Baltimore was the venue I was hoping to avoid and that is now a given. 3 1 Quote
ScottishBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Chargers look cooked with both tackles out and now both RBs also, Hampton was starting to look good. Herbert and receivers good enough to remain competitive, but losing to the Giants and being trashed by the Commanders suggests a much lower ceiling than it looked like. Broncos look legit, so I reckon KC as 5 seed, which lines up for playing them in the Divisional at home. Again. *Other things may happen in the remaining 13 weeks of the season Edited 2 hours ago by ScottishBills Quote
Rubes Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Chiefs were 2-3 a couple years ago and then made it to the AFC Championship Game. Why people are writing them off already is beyond me. They will not lose to the Raiders and Commanders, and may very possibly beat the Lions. This thread will look silly when they come into Buffalo at 5-3. 1 Quote

Maybe that is the case for the Chiefs, but McDermott has never won a road playoff game. I think it matters to the Bills to play all playoff games in OP. I definitely don't want them playing a playoff game in Arrowhead. Quote

No doubt. I was hoping that one of those teams would be another game clear at this point. If that division is won at 10-7 or even 9-8, the Chiefs are still the likely winner IMO. The hope is/was that someone else gets to 12-5 or even 11-6. If they do, the Chiefs could be out altogether. They have a couple more losses coming up. They’re lucky to get Detroit when they are. The Lions are banged up. Quote

They should have won the 13 second game and had the ball with a chance to win this past year. Regardless of those two losses, that shows me the Bills aren’t afraid or intimidated by Arrowhead. The magic has disappeared. I still think they get in even at 2-4. But it certainly starts becoming realistic for them to miss the playoffs. They are currently -230 to make it. Is it cause Kelce is making Swift and honest woman? Quote
zow2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago For some reason, this version of the Chiefs looks better from the eye test than last years version of the Chiefs. But last year they were 11-0 in one score games and this year they are 0-3 in those games. I feel like Mahomes is playing rejuvenated, all the RB's run like they are on fire, the WR's have speed across the board, Kelce is contributing and the defense while not as good as last year, appears solid and aggressive. The big difference is Patty has thrown an uncharacteristic INT or two... and they are getting derailed with some bad penalties and special teams. That stuff can be cleaned up though. I think KC will be there at the end unfortunately but hopefully Buffalo can take them out. Quote

They play the Lions next. I don't see them winning that game. Then the next games are Raiders, Commanders and Bills. Very realistically they could come into Buffalo at 3-5. Putting them at 3-6 with the Broncos twice in which I don't see a sweep, Colts, Chargers and Cowboys left. We could put them in too big of a hole. The Bills can beat them in the playoffs which would be even better. Every dog has his day. The NFL world is sick of KC. Its time for Allen to make his mark and dispose of the Chiefs. Quote

They have the two best QB's in the game by a good margin but both have deficient teams. If they make the playoffs at 10-7 or 17-0. You don't want to face either. Am I worried about the Chiefs game? Yeah. But I'm also starting to get worried about other teams too. The power is shifting around the league. I am not sure the monster to slay is getting smaller, it's just a different monster right now. Quote

Kaenon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Chiefs are currently 2-3, yes...but they have made the past 7 AFC Championship games IN A ROW since the 2018 season, going to 5 Super Bowls and winning 3. You can't write them off 5 games into the season. Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The afc south lookin pretty good record is trouble for them wildcard wise.. it’s shaping up to be a bumpier road competing for a wildcard than I thought a couple weeks ago IF they’ve gotta go that route might be the team we just lost to that potentially keeps the chiefs out funny enough. Still a longgggg way to go though they could easily win the division still. Really don’t have to panic in the division race unless they lose to Denver or LAC again Edited 1 hour ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago IDC what it means long term I delight in the Chiefs losing because f the Chiefs and their obnoxious fans Quote

Kinda all hinges on Chris jones for me…he looks like he just doesn’t like playing football anymore suddenly.. not sure if he’s regressing or just goin through the motions until playoffs all the talk of mahomes being amazing has masked it a bit but he’s been equally as responsible for huge plays in critical moments of playoff games this jags game was pretty jarring because it felt like the refs did everything they can to keep the chiefs in that game up until that last drive and they lost anyway. everyone is probably overreacting a bit to that one game Edited 1 hour ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote

It shows how easy the path to the #1 seed could have been if we didn't drop any of our easier games. The Bills have a dumb loss or two like this every single year and it is usually the reason we are playing on wildcard weekend. Then we inevitably lose a couple key defensive players heading into the divisional round. I guess before the season I would have signed up for 6-1 heading into the Chiefs game so we're still on track but I don't think we can drop any other games like that and we have to win at least one of KC/PHI/TB. 14-3 still gets it done I think. The Colts are the team that worries me the most. They have a very easy schedule and they've shown an ability to steamroll their inferior opponents. We need them to drop at least 3 more. Their toughest remaining games are at KC, at Chargers, and at Seattle. 2 Quote
BVBILLS Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago What about the Falcons with Bijon? That is no easy task for the Bills D Quote
