Ok that could be true (and still a hell of a turn around from last year) but they could easily be 11-6 with the schedule they have.  Also both teams played sloppy in that game.  Unlike most I will give the Bills D credit for stopping the Pats to just 3 points off of the Turnovers and actually got the ball right back on the first one as well..

I said it all week last week. The Pats are a damn good football team. They should have been 3-1 coming into last night but they fumbled their game away last week. Last night they simply were better prepared than the Bills were. They hit us in the trenches. Their O line is no fluke... it is GOOOOD! And, it showed. They have a good D all around and especially a VERY GOOD COACHING staff. Even Doug Marrone. The Pats will be there in the end.

Our D looked the same as the past few weeks. This was not a "sloppy game". It was who we are. A mediocre team on D with some offensive issues. Teams can adjust when we do at half time. Good coaches will adjust to our adjustments. Brady was out coached last night. We got beat. Straight up. They were tougher and ready!

Exactly. Teams that are -2 in turnovers in a game only win 16% of the time. Last night the Bills were the better team in a lot of ways, but the Pats did a great job taking the ball away.

The Bills looked older and not as fired up as NE last night... and add in some of the lazy fundamental penalties.  Sometimes the team needs a good slap in the face and to become the hunter again...not always the hunted.  This loss will give McDermott, Allen and the rest of the guys a lot of motivation.  We still have an "easier" schedule compared to other clubs not named New England, and the Bills only have one game away from the Eastern time zone (Houston).

I don’t know if that’s true but this was the 4th good game in a row for Maye.  So this wasn’t a one off for him. Like the person you responded to said the Pats lost against Pitt because they turned the ball over 5 times and still had a chance to win.. 

 

This wasn’t 1 game and the Bills be fine your still 99% sure take the division and if you can get by your Kryptonite in KC you should be AFC reps in the SB this year

I don't think NE wins the division this or next year. They will be WC contenders. And keep in mind...they have to pay Maye the highest contract in NFL history. Assuming he keeps getting better. Spring of 2027.

 

Unfortunately, I do believe Maye will be a top tier QB and Vrabel is a top tier HC. They are very young. So time will tell.

What window did we miss?  As long as Allen is playing well the window is open.  

Yes they have missed opportunities. And yes injuries have played a role in that. 

We need to stop with this #1 seed non-sense.  The only goal if at all possible is to be healthy going into the playoffs.  Plenty of teams have won on the road and won the SuperBowl including a couple WC teams.  

The issue is to fix the fundamental roster design flaws. No #1 WR, no consistent pass rush, a defense that is too small.  The PED cheats should help the pass rush.  The 2025 draft class started to address the size issue on defense.  Walker is a beast. If Sanders can get better then they have some youth on the inside to pair with DQ and the oft injured Oliver.   Palmer looks like a bust.  Brady needs to use Shakir and Kincaid way more.  Get Shavers off the field. He is useless.  Coleman needs to be more like Hollins was last year.

Pats schedule is concerning. 
 

Not many tough games for them. 
 

They could definitely stick around, especially if we stumble with the issues we have going on currently.

Patriots probably end up with 12 wins based on their schedule and their good coaching and the play of Maye as the season progresses. Buffalo has a tougher schedule and it wouldn't shock me to see the Bills tied with NE at 12 wins and losing the division to NE. We had our time...should have made hay, but didn't.

This!  New Orleans impressed me more than the Pats did.  That team is still the same awful team that won 3 games last year.  Brady isn’t running out of the tunnel and it should be obvious by now it was never The Patriot Way.  It was NE lucking into the greatest football player that ever lived way.  He’s not there and the team is terrible.  Bills just played more terrible in one game.  

 

Very reminiscent of the wind game when NE was supposedly “back” then as well.

What window? The super bowl window...the only window that matters. Allen can only do so much. When the playoffs get here, all the teams have good teams and good offenses/defenses. 

 

And all of the points you made with the WRs is the problem that I don't think will change. We routinely have "guys" but don't use them correctly. Even if we took Worthy over Coleman, we would probably misuse him as well.

 

We are getting dangerously close to the Rivers Chargers here.

They should not need motivation. If playing in front of 70,000 fans and a national tv audience doesn't motivate them then there are big issues.

Bills usually get better as the season progresses. The fourth week of January is usually where the stumble occurs.

They read their press clippings.  They start thinking they are hot sh*t and invincible especially at home and can "flip the switch" to win the game whenever they want.  McDermott is constantly reminding them to stay humble.,,
