McDermott Victory Speech

Nothing to see there to be honest. I'm just interested in the personalities of the players. 

 

Josh is playful - he's veteran probably heard too much of McDermott post game speech.

Cook is just socially shy, didn't really want to say anything being given a game ball before being propped to open his mouth.

Bishop, well you can tell he's kind of a "new" guy there; I'm guessing he stayed well back from the center and McDermott wanted to get him out for a hug

TO 1 was based on ref KC Land not giving Bills opportunity to sub.. like happened to Josh multiple times when he wants the snap.TO 2 was not necessary.

You shouldn't need victory speeches after playing the Saints. They should have buried this team by the half. 

You could tell Allen was pissed off the entire second half. After the TD run and the pass to Kincaid he looked right at the sideline.

Josh is in full control of the offense and can audible and get to any play at any time now

 

You always want the best play calling to maximize anything but Josh can get into anything he wants he knows the offense like the back of his hand... If he doesn't like the play call he can go to something else

Two of the Saints three games prior to this were decided by 7 points or less.   This nonsense narrative that the Bills need to blow everyone out is ridiculous.  Its the NFL.  Its hard to win.  Be glad they are 4-0 and move onto next week.

To #2 was necessary, there were only 10 players on the field.

He can't play defense

 

Its hard to argue the 30+ a game isn't working, but Josh looks handcuffed in these game plans. Last year the pass set up the run. This year they are trying so hard to use the run first.  And everybody eats is costing the Bills feeding the ball to our best playmakers in Shakir and Kincaid. Coleman should be 3rd in targets well behind those two. Pats won with Gronk and either Edelman or Welker getting the majority of the targets.

That series where they ran four consecutive times and turned it over on 4th down, during a crucial point of the game, just cannot happen with Josh Allen at QB. And Joe Brady needs to be explicitly told it cannot happen.

The Saints also showed them something they hadn't seen and weren't ready for.

That was about to be a successful 2pt conversion if he doesn't call it.

Yeah I felt that in the moment too. But 3rd and 4th and 1, the o-line didnt hold up. That trick play needed to be the third down call and then you let Josh roll out on 4th down.

 

That little pass/hand off to Shakir was similar to what Penn State ran to tie Oregon Saturday night. Very nice design. Terrible execution

It should go without saying that 10 men on the defense is an execution issue by a player or lower level coach, right?

Got to say McDermott not a great speech guy. Not very inspiring. Looks uncomfortable talking to the team.
