Blackbeard Posted September 8 Posted September 8 3 hours ago, HIT BY SPIKES said: Most ==> JOSH ALLEN None ==> SEAN McCOLLAPSY Cmon man. The coach? Who do you think kept their heads in the game? Who was calling the correct "go for 2" calls? Who was aggressive??? You do understand THAT team (the Ravens), is a horrible match up for ANY nfl team, right? You do know there IS accountability with your personnel too, correct? SO tired of these McDermott crap threads. 1 1 3 Quote

Well, young lady, then show some respect to the coach who prepared this team to beat a team like the Ravens! McD knew his defense was undermanned, with a rookie corner (a late round pick), two safeties who have almost no game time together, and lotsa new pieces. Anyone who trashes him after a victory like last night will always just trash the man. His culture, his demeanor, his detail oriented approach to all aspects of the game, his leadership of players and coaches, his football and overall intelligence... make victories like this possible. But you call him a nasty name and ridicule him as your first move after the game! Seems pretty hateful to me! And makes no sense. Edited September 8 by Mister Defense 1 Quote

He did absolutely nothing to sabotage the win. He didn't even have the nads to challenge the Josh Allen Spot ! Great Game McDermott !!!! 1 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Most - Josh Allen, his guys on Offense and our new Kicker Matt Prater. We won so I won't put in a none. Quote

billsfan89 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Funny how McDermott gets no credit for wins but all the credit for losses... You guys really are just haters at this point. There's critiques of McD but when a team keeps battling after being down a lot and getting socked in the mouth often that's a sign that a good coach has kept the team mentally tough... 1 1 Quote

It's just the same tired crap people on this board come up with when you criticize something about this team. They can't refute the correct analysis so it devolves into lame soap boxing about "haters." Edited September 8 by Luka 1 Quote
Got 2 Billieve Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I've been a die hard Bills fan for 35 years. Went through the glory days of the 90's and the days of turmoil (2000-2016) and back again (2017-present). When McDermott came here I was skeptical/critical about his decision making and lack thereof in big moments in games. However it is time to put some respect on his name. You really need to educate yourself about what is going on. Longest active playoff drought in North American sports (at one point). This organization was dead to rights. We had to play games in Toronto in an attempt to become more relevant and generate more revenue. It was so bad that Doug Marrone opted out of his contract to be an assistant with the Jaguars. Let that sink in for a second. It was a real possibility we were relocating to Austin TX. Sean came and has created a standard and a culture here that is almost unmatched around the league. Just listen to players press conferences, especially those who left and came back who come back. Most recently being Poyer and Phillips. Sean and Beane are not prefect by any means but pay more attention to really what's going on. Stop being the loudmouth uneducated Bills fan in Lot 4/Hammers Lot trying to chug as many beers as you can and open your eyes up to the big picture. Learn and appreciate what it takes for grown men to buy into you and your vision. Sean has created that. There are levels to this people. Tired of hearing those at the bottom level. Be good. Do good. GO Bills! Quote
hondo in seattle Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I think most pundits would agree that Baltimore has better players, and yet the Bills won. I'm not sure why Beane doesn't get some blame for not building a better roster. I'm not sure why McD doesn't get some credit for building a no-quit culture. Quote

Last night absolutely HAS TO have unseeded any games on the list. (Poor Sam Adams; his fumble recovery and return has officially been relegated.) We old timers will still take 17-7 over the Phins in 1980. 2 Quote
