Dorian Williams should be the primary backup of both Milano and Bernard.

He should be, but I don’t think he’s ever cross trained at MLB/signal caller, aside from his rookie year.

AJ Epenesa has only 21.5 sacks in 5 seasons which averages out to be only 4.3 sacks per season which means he's just another guy and not worth a premium 2nd round pick (54th overall). Just because Epenesa got an extension doesn't make Epenesa a good draft pick, bad stats don't lie.

As far as Singletary goes, 3rd round picks should be starters not backups. Singletary is a backup.

Ever player in the draft is a crap shoot. Where was Sky Moore drafted?

So far nothing too shocking Bills cut wise. Guess Dane Jackson would be it but he was horrendous and isn’t needed if Hairston/White is available

2nd round. Actually saw Moore play in HS and he was a QB. Not a bad player obviously but didn’t like blow my socks off. Thought he was a G5/FCS kid. Wasn’t until he got to a Western Michigan that I was like alright but he did have a lot of physical limitations for the NFL level so I’m not surprised he didn’t live up to his draft status

Wilkerson did look good. I was thinking he was this year’s Tyrel Shavers.  PS this season and hopefully a breakout next offseason. Hopefully they can keep him around.

Wilkerson is older and closer to his ceiling, which is a #53/PS type of guy.

Andreesen is fine for LB5 special teams, but that Bears game was brutal.

I want no part of him out there in passing downs.

Hopefully Shaq Thompson can be the primary MLB backup.  I’d feel way more comfortable with him in there for a game or two.

Ever year at this time, I just get real pissed at the front office.  Bills love medium floor, low ceiling players.  Never take risks.  They are so predictable on cutdown day.  It should be a no brainer keeping Chenault over Codrington.  And what about Cialo?  Guy has way more upside at this point then Buffalo Joe and Shaq Thompson.  And I would keep Latu over Zack Davidson.  And find a place for Wilkerson and Shavers if at all possible.  What we have done for the past 6 years has not gotten us to the Super Bowl.  Other than Josh Cook Ty Johnson Shakir Benford and the O line, noone elses job should have been safe going into the off season.  Not saying we should have 70% new roster.  But unless you have climbed the mountain and reached the pinnacle, things need to be changed every year.

It might be a no-brainer if Shenault wasn't even more of a no-brainer.

My only surprise player that might make the team was Wilkerson if they cut Elijah Moore.  The dream is still alive as of now.

Honestly, I liked what I saw out of Wilkerson way more than Moore in the PS. I think they try and stash Wilkerson on the PS and give Moore the MVS treatment from last year where he gets a couple opportunities in the first few games to show what he has before they eventually move on.

Chase Young was taken #2 overall in 2020 and has 22 Career sacks...K'Lavon Chaisson was taken #20 and has 10...

That was a straight up Billy Fucillo HUUUUGE..waste of a pick at 54

Shenault doesn't return punts, and codringtons PR average last season was 4th in the league.  You can use both as KR's, but you can also pretty much use anyone who can field a kickoff on KR's including ray davis, Ty Johnson, probably Elijah Moore, whoever.

We have not seen it lately because when Bernard couldn't play MLB, Milano was still out too. So we got to see Kleine and Spector alongside Williams.

You have an interesting point though. If Bernard is hurt does Williams play MLB or do they go with Shaq Thompson assuming he makes the team? Buffalo Joe is terrible at LB. If he plays LB they are screwed.  If he wasnt a local product there would be far less interest. To be honest I'm not even sure he is any good at special teams, not that I care who plays LB on special teams.

Every receiver they cut that’s not Shavers bodes well for him, IMO

Keon, Palmer, Shakir, Samuel, Moore, Shenault....those are the ones who cutting/moving on from impact his spot imo (obviously the only semi plausible cuts/trades are Samuel, Moore, Shenault). Shenault's cut was more beneficial for Shavers than any of the receivers not named above imo. Shavers clearly surpassed the Prathers Virgils and Hamlers of the world.

I kind of expect Dane to be on the PS and activated for a couple games to start the season

Yeah, I think that is the Bills thinking as well.  Teams did not show an interest in him as a free agent and his only real value is to the Bills since he knows the system.  He's likely to be around so they can use the roster spot for someone else.  Then they can put him on the PS and elevate him and even start him against Baltimore if they need to because of injuries.

Not defending Young really.  Just stating facts. That said my opinion is Epenesa sucks and Young at least has an excuse for poor play.

I think Young is fine, and probably better than Epenesa.  He also just signed a 3/51M contract to get fewer sacks than Epenesa (2/12M)
