Zion makes a lot of sense business wise. He's not guaranteed seasons pay.

And I don't see a need if White is good to go; hence, why not an extra kicker.

Per Matt Bove:

Not good for Tre, if true hes missing today.

Good news for Keon, Bass, Shakir, Benford to see them practicing in some capacity.

Id say Moore is a potential rest/illness/excused

He did not look great in the preseason, I agree.  At least he has a lot more size than little Codrington to play CB.

Ingram is my preference for this game at CB2 cause of his size and athleticism better tackling than Tre (admittedly a low bar).

I'm wondering if this is some confidence boosting for Strong as he may be starting (they may also believe that he is progressing, but also trying to show him that they believe in him for his own psyche for the game)

Buffalo Strong! I can't wait. I'd take him over Tre any day....

If Babich speaks on it, I tend to believe those are his true feelings. I remember earlier in camp when he was asked about Deone Walker and his remarks were glowing, followed by the typical “but he’s a rookie.” When asked about TJ Sanders his praise wasn’t to the level of Walker’s. Same with Hancock, he didn’t give him much praise aside to say “he’s a rookie with a lot on his plate.” Babich doesn’t tend to appease his players, or talk through the media. He seems like a straight shooter, so if he says Strong has markedly improved, I’ll take him at his word.

Do you use a quart of lotion a day? I feel bad for your ravens plushy.

So, to your weak point. ... Going back 2 years the ravens beat by a lot. But the dolphins can beat the Ravens when they're a better team and this has happened.

The Ravens implode some. 5 losses is likely the best for them. Burrough is going to come out swinging against defenses. Cleveland has a defense that can disrupt the Ravens flow. The Steelers are weird. The Chiefs own you. The Lions have the talent and it'll be early before they're injured.

Either way, God it must suck to always do so well when it doesn't matter than go home so early in January...every. Damn.  Year. Womp womp womp. Sorry crowboy

We pretty much own the Bengals.  Their defense hasn't gotten any better and they'll be hard pressed to stop the Ravens.  They'll be hard fought games but the Ravens always seem to come out on top of thise guys.  Cleveland will ne tanking this season.  Their defense is Myles Garrett ans a bunch of Jags.  Steelers are always a tough out and I dint expect anything different.  KC is KC and they'll be tough.  NFC teams dont beat Lamar he's lost like 3xs in his career against NFC teams.  Can the Lions beat the Ravens? Yes 8 just think we'll  beat them at home on a Monday Night.  As you guys saw last year Primetime games at the Bank are pretty electric.

This is a fun week 1 match up. Exciting way to start the year, but a lot of pressure while both sides iron out early season wrinkles.

For the Bills, the inability to lock down the secondary, the second boundary corner and other safety in particular, is a major concer for me against the Ravens. Much less so than any other team. We have relied heavily on on Taron and Poyer to help in the run game. Not a whole lot of margin for error for our undersized LB's and understaffed secondary.

This is the Ravens first real football game since losing in the Ralph 8 months ago. Baltimore adding an extra chip on their shoulder doesn't make me feel great either.

I think the Bills can for sure win this game. But a number of things make me uncomfortable.

The Ravens are a tough match up hence their success the last two seasons. Yet last year their secondary looked vulnerable and I can't say it's improved by contrast it could be debated if our receiving core has improved, I feel it has. The key to me would be how we handle stopping the Ravens run game and deal with Zay Flowers as to me the offense runs through these guys sure you have to account for Lamar but he needs these two IMO to succeed for him to succeed more. Also the Bills might be wise to slow the game down at least early and if needed pick up the pace later in order to tire the Ravens defense late and put more pressure on their offense later, as not sure how reliable their rookie kicker is.

Am I the only one that thinks Keon's head and arm movements look super awkward?

Agree. He is trying to build him up! Love what he is trying to do, but my expectations are going to be pretty low.

199 yards is a fluke?

Yes.  To bust a run on the very first place that's over 70 yards is an anomaly.

Ravens don't seem to be paying attention to the bills RBs. Sure, you know Cook. I don't know that he will see 100 ground yards but could see 100 all purpose. Ray Davis and Ty Johnson, the third down back, are other players.

Johnson can catch exceptionally well. Between him and Shakir underneath the Bills don't need deep. Let Palmer and Samuel run down field. Let Coleman do whatever he is capable of doing.

Regardless, the Ravens think they only need to be concerned about the Bills passing. The Bills didn't win games passing last year.

The Bills on the ground is going to matter. We also have the league MVP. His name ain't Jackson. He's the best in the league and we have him.

They understand they need to stop the run.  We go into every single game wanting to make teams one dimensional.  The very 1st thing we want to do is stop the run. Not saying we do this but that is the 1st goal.  What makes Kyle Hamilton so good is because he can drop down and play LB and be just as effective.  I do think he'll be the one task with the back out of the backfield.    Im quite sure its the opposite. They want to stop the run and make your wr beat them.

That's possible to do. But we also have the best player in the league and you do not. Josh Allen.
