Bishop would be fine if he could stay healthy but he can't and that's a problem.

Coleman will be fine. We all knew he wasn't drafted to be a superstar. He'll give you 2nd rounder production for sure.

I actually like Carter but I just think we flat out upgraded the position.

Rounds 4-7 are always a crapshot. SVPG is a guy I loved but him not being healthy this summer may have ended his chance at ever contributing.

Bishop was the pick over DeJean....McD wanted DeJean......I think this one is at Beans desk.

im so confused how they picked bishop over DeJean when DeJean went before the Bills picked Bishop.

Jimmy Ciarlo makes plays when hes playing.  Jordan Hancock had a nice play. Frank Gore Jr has had a great preseason, besides his bad fumble.  Shavers has had a great Preseason. Brad Robbins too.   Hoecht is MVP of Preseason TJ and Walker flashed.  Solomon flashed.

I don't give a crap about getting blown out.  Preseason is about individual evaluation. 2 games in, who else splashed?  Who else won their 1/11th battle?

Im little surprised and optimistic about Coleman sitting out with the starters.  Him sitting and Palmer playing is an interesting development.  I think Palmer was expecting to come in and be a focal point of the offense.  Im not sure thats the case.  Coleman seems to be running away with the top role at WR.

Keon could salvage it.  IMO Keon has a great season.

2nd round pick- Cole Bishop- maybe the light turns on, but he looks lost out there.  He let tiny Xavier Worthy rip the ball out of his hands.  Has me made a great play yet?  Any signs of hope?

Carter- probably our weakest lineman.  He would surely be cut if he wasn’t last years third rounder.

That’s possible 1 for 3 with our first 3 picks.  .333 is good batting average in baseball, but ***** for top 3 picks.

Hopefully Keon steps up, to save this draft from being a disaster.

Cooper DeJean was top value for our pick, and whom I would have drafted.

and your basing this all on 2 preseason games where there was maybe 50% of the starters out there? everyone looked lost out there cause we never have had our complete #1 team out there at once. so its going to look like that..

Though I get it with Bishop.. we do not know how he will play when it matters with his full #1 team around him is there..

Remember.. when the CB fails.. its going to make the FS and SS look like trash as well.

With Respect.. this is a slight over-reaction till everyone is in and plays when it matters....

Here is the Bishop play in all 22.

For Starters only one S back.. with that many WR's and how tight the CB's are playing is god awful crud position to put Cole in.

5 seconds in 1.5 notice everything is headed 5+ yards.

2.5 seconds in. 3 players are headed towards Cole. What player do you choose? Wait.. they still all overed..

3 seconds in. everyone covered. 3.5 seconds in.. Cole has a player that lost the defender right Infront of him and the wr made a great jump to avoid him.

3 things are at fault this play.

#1.. we RARELY would be just 1 back with so many WR on the field.

#2. WTH is that defender doing on the 20?

#3. Cole needed to make a decision a second quicker..

BUT..

1 second quicker everyone was covered.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good rant.

Im basing it on every game Bishop has played.  Like I stated, Bishop appears lost, and has from the get go.  Im waiting on that lightbulb to turn on.  He is penciled in as our starting Safety September 7th, so he better figure it out quick.

Carter's first couple games, he flashed.  He injured his, wrist, and was below average upon his return.  Perhaps injury lingered, and effected his performance.  One grading system graded Carter the 5th worst DT in NFL

I don't give a ***** about getting blown out in preseason.  Preseason is about player evaluations.  Players are playing for their NFL lives.   The Turk is lurking.

Blowing 100 picks on DT is nothing new, right Boogie?

Way too soon to make an opinion, is my takeaway.

This is a big year for : Keon, Cole and Kincaid (year 3).

Cole just needs to stay healthy, talent is there.

Who is our starting Safety September 7?  Werent Bills banking on Cole to take over starting role, adequately, by now?  Arent we trying to win a Superbowl?  Safety is prayer and a wish right now

Beane is just not an elite drafter... Don't know how much more we need to see. He's not the worst but he's certainly not great at it.

Beane hits 4th round and later often, but its maddening and confounding how he has so many top 100 misses.  If he drafted better in top 100, Bills would of won SB already IMO

Bishop will start IMO, if he stays healthy from here until Sept 7th.

And yes, its a huge "hope"  but not much different than TB a couple years ago getting injured in preseason and being named week 1 starter.

Where do you get the information that McD wanted DeJean?  I’m curious as I have heard nothing of this anywhere.

One rumour was that Keon was a Josh pick.  It was said that Josh submitted a list of WR he would like for Bills, and Keon was high on list
