Good comparison with those Raiders teams. Hopefully the Bills can finally break through and win it. I honestly think the Ravens are going to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl this year assuming injuries don't kill there season. That roster is loaded and might be the best in football.

I think the Ravens on paper right now have the most complete roster. I also think they play in an incredibly tough division which adds attrition in a very real way, their overall schedule is very tough, and I will say the quiet part out loud Derrick Henry is 32 in January and NFL history shows RB's break down now. He has 950 carries the last three years which historically means an injury is now very possible. Henry is a beast and one of my favorites to watch... I also want to see if he lasts and if he doesn't how that offense responds because he adds an element that is irreplacable.

Listen, the Super Bowl for the Bills is not my identity...

Sure, winning it all is the goal, but if you can't enjoy the season without winning the big one, well, that's not my problem...

The NFL is entertainment...

The Josh Allen era is the best entertainment I've experienced as a Bills fan...

I am positive that even if they won the Super Bowl, there would be endless crying about how they won...

I'm with you. Not winning the championship, which takes a larger amount of politics and luck than anyone is willing to admit, will never ruin this amazing run we've been on.

Josh Allen likely ruined the Bills lol

Yes, Buffalo the city with zero Lombardi's and Stanley Cups is such a demanding fan base, we're just like Yankee fans or Patriot fans.   God, I feel dumber when I read takes like that.

Just a side note...

From 1990 to 1993 the Bills finished the regular season as the #1 team in the NFL only once, in 1993.

Although they also beat the Cowboys in the '93 regular season, they also essentially finished tied with them at 12-4.

I hate that we lost four straight Super Bowls, however, I am proud of what those Bills teams did.

I respect the heck out of Philip Rivers...but I don't want Josh to have that similar noose hanging around his neck.

Go Bills

The more I think about it, I believe not having elite coaching is going to be a factor in both.

I don't even think its about having elite coaching...I think simply having a Head Coach that's not a liability would have been enough for Josh to have gotten to a SB by now

Kelly didn't get the Bills to the SB until he was 30, and then went to 4 in a row.

I have this weird feeling about history repeating, but Allen will start when he's 29, go to 4 in a row, and win them all. And then cap it all w/ a 5th at some point in his remaining career - giving us a winning 5-4 record in the big game.

And man, will I love to be hated, and be the league's villain.

Josh Allen turns 30 in May. With the way he plays, it’s possible that he only has three “prime” seasons left.

Beane continues to whiff on the first two rounds in the draft.  For years, he has poured money and resources into a defensive line that is among the league’s worst, and he has yet to add any true elite, gamebreaking talent to the roster.

McDermott is supposed to be a “defensive genius”. However, the defense was historically bad last season. His defenses have failed over and over again in “big boy” games.

Unless Uncle Terry makes a change, these two are going to have been gifted the entire career of arguably the most talented QB to ever take an NFL snap — with zero Super Bowl appearances to show for it.

Would that be a bigger failure than four straight Super Bowl losses?

Josh is a freak and I’d say he has more like 7 more years. The SBs will be coming fast and furious. At least one in the next 2 or 3 years, then more. Our problem has been not playing well enough against KC. That ends this year. Our defense will be better this year and our receivers will be better.
