Mikie2times Posted Thursday at 11:44 PM Posted Thursday at 11:44 PM I'm glad Spencer participated in the tug-of-war competition where you could literally see players vertebra splinter in the right lighting. 1 1 Quote

I guess you literally saw through the fabric of their shirts. I didn’t know they had the tug of war inside an MRI machine. Quote

Considering where he was Drafted I was thrilled with his play when he got in there last year. Now with a full year under his belt how much better will he be? It sure seems like he's on a great trajectory...eventual starter? 👀 Quote

He is still out and no word on him returning any time soon. I've been told to relax at least three times, but Brown is potentially the best player on the OL. He has h/o back issues. His availability and him playing at a high level are critical to this team's offense. Relax. 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted Friday at 01:47 PM Posted Friday at 01:47 PM I do wonder if all these mostly minor (Hairston and Anderson the only ones with the chance so far to miss multiple weeks from what I am hearing) injuries is giving the Bills recently drafted players in 2024/25 plus the UDFA's and backups the chance to really develop? If Spencer Brown is out for a week of camp or so that's more reps for Van Denmark and Grable to soak in and get reps against starters on defense they might not have gotten? As long as the starters and key role players that are out come back in the next week or so I think they will have plenty of time to shake off any rust. So maybe extra reps for others isn't a bad thing. Quote

This is definitely the “silver lining” or “glass half full” perspective, and I think the coaches would generally agree that getting younger, more inexperienced players a chance to have more reps against the 1s is helpful for their development and to see where they stand. Of course, the “glass half empty” perspective is that you want your starters ready by week one and they need the reps to get into “football shape.” The reality is obviously a balance of the two, but to this point nothing about the type of injuries the Bills are dealing with is overly concerning to me.
