Actually the main point of the article wasn’t anything we didn’t know other than I thought all of those stats for Allen shows just how great he has been, even better than Mahomes in many instances.

Ya and when he did, Dion Dawkins got his lunch handed to him by Chris Jones, negating a sure TD and the following year, Dalton Kantcatch didn't adjust to a hurried throw and then dropped the ball as it hit him right in the hands.

 

It's a team game and Josh has been let down by teammates and coaches year after year. Getting sick of this "well he had the ball in his hands at the end" nonsense. He can only do so much. Others have to not keep coming up small in big moments.

If we scored late in that Chiefs game last year, I'm almost certain it was getting called back on a penalty anyway. I have seen so many different videos of how it didn't seem the refs were gonna let the Chiefs lose that game

In normal contexts it refers to the achieving a % of the yards on each down to keep a team on schedule for a first down. Like 40% of the yardage required on first, 60% on second down, 100% on third down.

the Bills would have to win 4 straight against the Chiefs in the playoffs to have the same record as the Bengals. 
 

It’s unfortunately a fact that if we had gone .500 against the Chiefs in the postseason, they would have at least 1 less SB appearance.

 

The Bengals have to actually make the playoffs again for them to be as dangerous as they claim.

Blame McDermott. He is the HC. I never understand why they didn't use Cook more. He is really an excellent RB and helps take the pressure off of Allen.

Bills defense:

- Surrendered more points to the Chiefs than any other team all season.

- Had to face the 17th ranked offense by yards, 15th ranked offense by points
 

Bills offense:

- Scored more points against the Chiefs than any other team to that point (other than Bills part 1 and week 17 with all backups).

- Scored the most points in a game vs KC in Arrowhead since October 10, 2022.

- Had to face the 9th ranked defense by yards, 4th ranked defense by points

 

I don’t really care about a single play or single drive. The Bills offense had an excellent game against a top defense and did their part. The Bills defense could not slow down an entirely mediocre KC offense. Period.

Exactly. Kansas City really has our number and Cincinnati is another team I don’t trust our defense to stop. But let’s not pretend like the defense hasn’t had some great performances in the playoffs. The last 2 postseason games against Baltimore, Denver, the New England massacre were all solid efforts. 
 

We just match up horribly against KC which is strange as Beane is supposed to be building a defense tailor-made to specifically stop Mahomes. It’s not like they’re unstoppable either because other teams have shut them down, but against us you know it’s going to be a shoot out every single time.

Joe Brady was absolutely ABYSMAL in the AFCCG. 

- Repeatedly going to the QB sneak when it didnt work the previous 5 times that game
- Not using Cook in that final drive (total headscratcher considering the absolute magic that Cook did two drives before that)
- Going back to the same 4th down play call he head used all year

He was absolutely embarassing.
