Do You Put in the Same Effort for Pre-Season Tailgate Meals as the Regular Season?

What I cook at the game will stay the same - gilled chicken wings and Utz Dill Pickle chips.

Beer menu will be different. Won’t bring any of the good farm ales, sours or others. Just plain Miller Lite.

I can't go to pre-season. I always want the first experience every year to be that massive energy of the home opener. I just have never been to one which is pretty strange in close to 50 years of going to games.

You obviously haven’t been talking to your sister about me.  Heyyoooo!  JKJK 😀

True.

Ever since she died 2 decades ago she has been kinda quiet.

I am glad you have brought her some happiness in the afterlife.

BAZINGA!!!

Decided to throw some bacon cheddar burgers on the grill today for the Hall of Fame inductions.  A couple cold pops to wash em down.  Football season is here!

More generally, I have realized that my interest in preseason generally has waned. During the drought years, I couldn’t miss a single snap— even desperate enough to hunt for preseason games on a cruise ship And once in Puerto Rico while on vacation.

Now, strangely enough, it feels much less important, and I probably will watch a few plays here and there after the fact, if that.

Not really, but pouring Vodka into a plastic cup and drinking it doesn't really require a lot of preparation.

Have you given much thought as to what kind of plastic cup?

If not, then you really haven't done your prep work have you?

Do you want to let all of your Bills Brethren here down?

Here, I will help you fellow Bills fan...

Good for you! You’ll be in Jamaica while I’m in Nashville for the bye week, which happens to be my BDay weekend. My son has to be there for a wedding, but my babysitter/wife rented a house for a week and we have friends joining us. We used to spend a lot of time there and we still love it. Great bye week timing!

I usually just drink like it's a regular season game

It's always fun when your blitzkrieged at 11:00 a.m. for a preseason game

I could probably even be persuaded to go through a couple tables

I do not, 😁🍸🚬

I don’t think it’s reasonable for you to expect a lesser pour!

If that’s what that means…

I just got tired of trying to find Bills games when you are travelling independently (resorts are NOT for me) in Argentina, Havana or Jamaica.

So now I just pull out the Bills upcoming schedule well in advance and work around it.

One week is easy however I tend to go for 2-4 weeks since I can't say I enjoy the getting there part of the trip.

So for JAM when the Bills play the Panthers @ 1:00 PM on Sunday October 26th, I will leave the seclusion in the hills near Negril and go watch the game on 7 mile beach and risk being annoyed by tourists.

So for HAV in January, I am counting on the Bills skipping the Wildcard Weekend and I booked a fancy hotel room in Havana for my last 3 days there that I know I can watch the Divisional Games in the comfort of my deluxe room with internet, satellite TV, large screen, balcony and the full hotel services like a beautiful breakfast buffet each morning, cigar shop, A/C and live music all day in the lobby and then patio while drinking this rum unmixed and kept in the freezer to avoid any ice or other contaminations....

That guy in the video is NOT me.  He is definitely NOT a Bills Fan.  My guess -- a Dolphins fan or possibly a Seahawks or 49'ers fan.  Maybe Chargers since he has that Fish Taco look on his face.

I think I can speak for all when I say we grieve for your terrible hardship.
