No one is interested in trading for Trubisky.. not even his parents.

I’m his uncle. I can vouch for this! 😂

Waiving the BS flag. Sure he might need surgery, or it could have healed all this time without surgery. I feel this is an agreement between the two, you go on IR and we will release you next offseason instead of trading you.

That's how I see it. It's one of those, I'm not playing anyway and his options are We can hope it heals up or just do the surgery and fix it. He opted for the surgery

We have seen this happen in the league over the years.

Small point of technical order: you’re conflating regular season misses with training camp perfection…go back and check the tape—NP was a Thursday All-American in camp!! He legit won the starting job Josh’s rookie season featuring AJ McCarron rounding out the QB room that year…not to mention how awesome NP looked during preseason. We were all stunned by what happened when the games counted. But Nate was tossing dimes before that 👀😅.

🤔… actually, I’m jokingly suggesting that hunger could make the reigning league MVP look like one of the statistically worst QBs in the history of the NFL for the imaginary purpose of selling a candy bar… 🤷‍♂️

If the Bills like Might Wight I'd wonder if the Titans would be interested in trading for Trubisky.  Wentz, Huntley, and maybe Beathard are unsigned so they could go that route too.

For me, it has always been White Mike

Honestly watching him the last couple years here and there...his decision making and freestyle type play reminded me a lot of year 1/2 Josh Allen. Unfortunately for Levis, I don't see the same career progression. I think he's at his ceiling already.

Hmm, I saw a lot of Maxim Afinogenov

Wow, poor guy.

Sitting there waiting to to hear his name called on draft day, with some calling him a top ten pick, and never getting the call.

Then., looked like he was going to be the franchise QB of an NFL team a few years ago.  And  he lost his starting job, it seemed, last year.

Then, the Titans draft their new franchise QB, Cam Ward. (For now.)

And finally a lost year ahead.

I think Levis looked pretty good overall the last two years on a very poor offense and with a new coaching staff last season.  He turned the ball over too much, took too many unnecessary risks (or maybe needed ones, on that poor offense) but clearly had a very good arm, ran and moved well, and seemed to have pretty good leadership traits.  I was looking forward to him surprising people and battling Ward, in what almost everyone had considered a foregone conclusion.

I could see Trubinsky or White as the Titans' backup this season. And maybe a team like the dolphins grabbing Levis next year, an insurance policy.

I agree with the  Allen comparison, at least to some degree.  I was thinking the same as you during the last two years when he was criticized for those things.

But disagree that Levis hit his ceiling.

Don't you think that because his issues are mistakes he is making, such as untimely turnovers and such, that those things will diminish as he gains experience?

Of course he would need to be on the right team, with the right coaching staff, but I think his weaknesses are ones that usually fade away, while his strengths--very good arm, athletic, can run--are things that are often a foundation of good NFL QB.

Trubisky is so undervalued here. Hes a former top draft pick who needs no reps to be ready to play in a pinch. Hes played a ton and has seen lots of things in the NFL. He is going to be here for 10 years because he's the perfect backup to Josh

Also Mike White is awful. Dude is tough as nails but he had 2 good games in 2021. He's right where he should be on the depth chart

I love watching Levis play. He's sugar high Josh will none of the brilliance

Trubisky had a couple good games in 2018.  He is terrible and would have trouble starting on a lot of top 25 college teams at this point.  He can’t throw an accurate pass more than 10 yards down the field.

The Bills should have drafted Joe Milton a couple years ago.  The guy at least has some talent.

I agree Mike White is nothing special either.  The Bills should have kept Anthony Brown last season. Has more talent than any of the backups.  I guess McDermott likes to keep the QB room very snowy if you catch my drift.

The #1 job of the backup QB is to be Josh Allen's close friend.  So the best way to see who will be the backup is look who went to Josh's wedding.  I saw photos of Trubisky & Buechele, but no Mike White.  So my guess is the only QB who can beat out Trubisky is Buechele.

Your drift is total BS.  Brown couldn't even complete 50% in the UFL this year.  He played in only 3 games, sucked & got benched.  Brown is much worse than any QB on the Bills roster.

I disagree.  Trubisky is a joke.

Brown doesn't even rise to the joke category. He was benched in the UFL after 3 games & never played in another game.

He looked good at Oregon a few years back.  Especially in the bowl game against I believe Oklahoma.

We probably have the worst backups collectively in the league.  Although I still have hope that Mike White can find the magic he had several years back for a few games with the Jets.

I just cringe when I see Mitch Trubisky with that stupid smile wearing a Bills uniform.

Teams, generally, don’t want to start the rookie and THEN go back to the other guy. Usually, they’d let the other guy start, and then, pull him in favor of the young guy. If Levis wasn’t going to start week 1, he wasn’t going to be playing at all this year.

The 2024 Panthers called…. They said, Never say never.

He lost a Qb battle to Sean Clifford…. He has everything you would want in physical gifts.  I question the leadership and all the other qualities NFL backups have.  Geno, Darnold and Mayfield figured it out.  Levis has the tool and different approach could result in success.  Idk if he is that guy.  Seems to like what football provides more than liking football.
