GunnerBill Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I'll be the weirdo who says I'm looking forward to pre-season and the backup job/bottom of the roster battles. As someone who is as fascinated by the team building element of the sport as the action on the field I always enjoy that time of the year. And then I'll look forward to seeing the Buffalo Bills take the field in September and win a bunch of football games. Individual player I'm most excited to see? TJ Sanders. Was one of my guys in the draft. Loved him. Delighted to see him in Bills blue. 3 Quote

Augie Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I’m most interested in the opener vs the Ravens. I’ll be there with the family and it’s obviously a huge rival, but the real reason this one has my attention is that it is the NEXT game. The next game is always the most important game, even if we lose sight of that sometimes. 18 minutes ago, dcinmuncie said: bringing our first of three lombardis in the next 4 years Are we going to hold the fourth trophy in reserve somewhere? Maybe pass it around amongst STHers? It’s shaped wrong, I don’t see how you could drink out of it, and we ARE Bills fans. Quote
Gregg Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I am looking at the defense. Beane moved heaven and earth this offseason to improve that side of the ball. If his moves pay off and this turns out to be the best defense Allen has ever had then they have a legit chance to win the Super Bowl unlike previous years where the defense has **** the bed when facing a good offense especially in the playoffs. 1 Quote
SoMAn Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Cautiously optimistic about an improved and fortified defensive line. There are a lot of 'ifs' that go into the equation. 'If' the 2nd & 3rd year youngsters (Carter, Soloman), the new recruits (Sanders, Jackson, Walker), the 'suspendees', (Ogunjobi & Hoecht), and vets (Epenesa, Rousseau, Oliver) kick it up a notch to make an impact, I'm excited for what could be a defense that will be a compliment to the Josh Allen-led offense. IF the D-line can become something close to an elite NFL unit, the LBs and DBs will look that much better. 2 Quote

SoMAn Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Excited to see the Bills play live, here in Atlanta, and eager to watch as Bills Mafia takes over the city and the stadium. Barring injury (to me or him), it will be my first opportunity to watch Josh in-person. side note: For many years I never missed at least one game each season. Even living in Atlanta I had Bills season tickets for a couple of seasons during the Super Bowl years. This it the longest period (since 2008) in my life I've gone without seeing them play. I may try to get up to Highmark one last time before it's over. Go Bills! 1 Quote

The defense hasn't **** the bed that much against good offenses in the regular season (it had a couple of bad games last year mind you). It has really struggled against the Chiefs and the Bengals in the post season. Quote

We got lucky they screwed up the 2-point conversion otherwise that game might have ended differently. Quote

We were well represented that day, and I expect that again this year! I try to make the home opener very year and one road game. The “road” game this year will be right down the road from my house. I can see the stadium in a distance on my way to Publix every day! Quote

We held Baltimore 5 points under their seasonal average - even if they catch the two pointer we have kept them 3 points below. The Bills are not a defense who mind the "ball being moved on them" that is who they are. They back themselves to take it away and stand up in the redzone team. If your defense takes it away three times in the playoffs and you don't win that isn't on your defense. 2 1 Quote
