And note the difference between what I’m saying and what the Trumpy wingnuts are saying.
Me: unbalanced/unsuccessful in life but with an elevated sense of his own abilities and importance. Has a late middle aged crisis. Lashes out at perceived enemies who thwarted his stupid plans by not supporting him.
Them: Deep State operative! Lefty who went to (gasp!) AFRICA to try to set up an NGO!!  Killed a moderate Democrat, therefore is obviously a radical lefty Democrat! Are you connecting the dots yet??

The difference between a rational assessment of the facts as we know them vs wild conspiratorial shift-the-blame to the “Marxists” thinking. See Sen Mike Lee.

Well I suggested we should not succumb to speculation and withhold judgment until the facts were in and was told people like me, whatever that means, are supporting these killers. Figure that!

This is completely not related to the horrendous crime, and I don't mean to be insensitive but.......

Has anyone seen these press events from MN and the bald lady doing the sign language translation for Walz and others?

She is absolutely bizarre. My wife and I can't stop laughing at her.

Crazy facial expressions.

I noticed that, and particularly the sign for “panic.”

I had a deaf coworker who explained some of this to me. When signing, you don’t have access to the hundreds of different voice tones/inflections that allow for shades of meaning. So the signer’s face takes on a much larger role in communication.

"It's a terrible thing.  He's a terrible governor."

MAGA rejoices.  What a president.

Go back to the Charlottesville hoax and maybe understand why he would respond like that.

No.  We know he’s a Democrat Walz tool.

Cant imagine what would give us this idea.

It’s definitely who he attacked and why.

It’s definitely who he and his wife worked for.

It’s definitely the pro African Immigrant NGO he worked for.

Its definitely not like there isn’t ample evidence of Democrats and political violence in just the last 12 months:

Really, it’s not so hard to just admit you jumped the gun on this one. Just like Senator Mike Lee. This is getting embarrassing

Trump certainly could have shown more empathy for the situation.  But at the same time, I don’t blame him for saying what he did about Waltz.

The Left has endlessly demonized Trump, and in some cases, encouraged violence against him and his supporters over the last 10 years…

So while I think it would have been nice to see more empathy, I certainly understand where he is coming from, and why it is probably difficult to care about Democrat politicians…

Originally, I assumed the killer was a Leftist (and he still might be), because we see violence from the Left on a daily basis, and the media is always trying to divert blame to conservatives, like with the Pelosi attacker, or Crooks, or the Covington kids.

So it is hard to take the media at face value, when they always have an agenda to attack the Right…just sayin…

Regardless, if the killer is a Trump supporter or not, he deserves the death penalty, in my opinion…

He strikes me as having some similarities to the Las Vegas concert shooter. A sketchy background and an associated sketchy wife.
