Is the premise of this "if you take the money your team will never win the superbowl"?

 

Or is the $500 a consolation prize for our yearly dismissal from the playoffs by KC with the unlikely chance we actually beat them when it matters?  Kind of like betting against your favorite team?

No amount could make up for a Lombardy at 1 Bills Drive if you are a true Bills fan that went through the drought years and Wide Right, Music City Miracle .

 

Just 1 Lombardy would take all of that away or at the very least put it in the rear view mirror and the Bills in every ones eyes would finally be legit and all those so called experts would be saying "See I knew they were champions" Instead of them saying what they always say !

 

"They don't have what it takes to get over the hump" ... Plus it would finally shut up all the Bills fans that hate on McD and Beane which to me would be more worth it ! When that day does come and I fully believe it will and shortly !!

 

I will be one of the first on here to say BOOM !! TAKE THAT to all those haters that thought McD couldn't get them there !!!

If you take the money it is a guarantee that you will never see the Bills win a Super Bowl in your lifetime. Obviously $500 isn’t the answer, so what is? What’s the number that it would take for that deal with the devil?

I'd trade having my house paid off for never watching modern football again.

This isn’t even a thought exercise.  We have a realistic chance to experience the pinnacle of why we follow our team, but we’ve not had that pleasure yet.  That experience will be priceless, especially in Buffalo where other than NLL, championships are impossible to come by.

I think a lot of ppl here are full of it. Easy to say that you’d turn down 500k in a hypothetical situation but if there was cash on the table, how easy would it be to close that briefcase?
