It’s only a “like” reaction and not an “awesome” reaction, however, because I only counted these 2 distinct compliments when I was kinda hoping for a compliment tally more in the 5+ range from you... I am a gentleman if nothing else, as many men of my era were encouraged to be. Some listened, some didn’t, so I don’t want to paint with a broad brush. On the other hand, too many compliments leave us precious little room for growth. 2 hours ago, ComradeKayAdams said: But getting back on topic, let’s now briefly review La Commie Kay’s outline of what SHOULD be done (but obviously won’t): 1. Stop attacking Iran. 2. Lift all economic sanctions on Iran. 3. Negotiate a JCPOA v2.0 deal with Iran. 4. Encourage internal revolt and regime change within Iran. 5. Arrange a permanent ceasefire and full hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas. 6. Send Bibi, Smotrich, Ben-Gvir, and the rest of Israel’s government leaders to The Hague for their war crimes. 7. Send Hamas military leadership to The Hague for their war crimes. 8. Lead an international coalition to guide a new single Israel-Palestine country, with full and equal rights for all, regardless of ethnicity or religion. One of the biggest issues for me in all this is that I have no idea what the real intel is on Iran, their nuclear aspirations and partnerships/alliances with enemies of Israel. On the other hand, the international watchdogs have said that they were up to no good, and that seems likely enough to me. Ceasefire, Hamas releasing all hostages, agreements all good. Regime change would likely be a positive, though who knows. 2 hours ago, ComradeKayAdams said: P.S.: 24.8 BMI is actually pretty good! Don’t forget that muscle weighs more than fat, so I think BMI as a health metric can sometimes be misleading for guys. But you gotta go 100% whole-food plant-based if you want to drive from Fat Boy City to Slender Man Town! P.S.P.S.: WTF is a “cassette deck,” bruh?? Is that a device situated alongside your rotary phone, typewriter, and cathode ray TV?? (P.S.)^3: The rapper spells his name as “Eminem.” You were thinking of the candy, “M & M’s.” Typical 20’s BMI’er…always thinking about junk food… Oh, I know it’s good Jack! Here’s the secret though—a little intermittent fasting goes a long way for me without the plant based diet. I’m a tad lazy on that, but was at a pretty decent weight a few months back. Sadly, muscle isn’t jamming up my bmi at this point, but maybe I ralky for the beach next month. 😉 cassette deck and mix tape. The good old days! I do like my m&ms. 2 hours ago, ComradeKayAdams said: Even lesser known fact: John Lennon’s first draft to those original lyrics predicted the internet, Two Bills Drive, and our political debates all in one!! He was so far ahead of his time because he could LITERALLY see half a century into the future! Lennon, however, probably correctly assumed that the people would fear his powers of omniscience. So he promptly threw this first draft into the trash bin, to be forever forgotten by history, until now… Imagine there’s no Leh-nerd. It’s easy if you try. No conservative poster With a 24.8 BMI. Imagine all of PPP Havin’ more of their say. Ah-ha-aaah… Imagine there’s no Leh-nerd. It isn’t hard to do. No one for Kay to bully And to claim smells like poo. Imagine all of PPP Lookin’ less obese. You-oo-oooh… You may say Kay’s a dreamer, But she’s not the only one. Muppy has her own opinion, “Ugh. With his MAGA rants I’m done.” Imagine there’s no Leh-nerd. I wonder if you can? Fewer non-sequiturs and whataboutisms, As if a moderator ban. Imagine all of PPP Sans Leh-nerd’s thoughts unfurled. You-oo-oooh… You may say Kay’s a dreamer, But she’s not the only one. Muppy once more opines, “Meh. His verbose opinions had a good run.” This is quite good, and you’re welcome for the inspiration playa. 1 1

Wacka Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Of course if the cross dressing luggage stealer had spent some time on investigating nuclear weapons instead of increasing his wardrobe, maybe Iran wouldn't be so close to having a operational nuke.

Andy1 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I have no faith in the judgement of Iran’s leader, Khamenei. I have no faith in the actions of Netanyahu. I have no trust in the decision making of Trump and Hegseth. If Trump enters this war, Iran will kill American troops in the Middle East to suck us deeper into the war. Netanyahu would love for that to happen too. I’m also concerned about cyber attacks from Iran. 2

The fact is that everyone knew the Iranians were violating the JCPOA. Even the Obama Administration claimed evidence of it. Never mentioned in this thread, (of course), by those who thought the John Kerry negotiated agreement was of any real value, was the reported event where the Israelis discovered detailed historical records of the program in an Iranian warehouse. 55,000 pages of documents indicating clear existing violations and intent to continue. The Israelis smuggled it out, translated it, and presented it to Trump in his first term. Anyway, there has been a constant drumbeat from intl sources about the violations up till May 31 of this year. Social media posts are amateurish and no substitute for facts and details. The President's statements are vague rambling. A poll indicated only 19% of Trump voters support engagement. Overall, 16% of Americans support involvement. At some point the Clerics need to go. But here Isreal started this campaign and its not our problem they lack the capacity to neutralize underground facilities. Let then send in ground forces to finish the mission. And likely incur significant casualties. That's not our problem to address. Trump campaigned on a pledge of no new wars. If he falls for Isreal's manipulation here he'll lose significant support. It it worth the political capital to do Netanyahu 's dirty work? Do this and he'll lose the audience. Edited 7 hours ago by All_Pro_Bills 1

Only THEY know the answer to that, we DO NOT.. And if it’s a lie and the Iranians don’t have nuke(s) at the ready, then we all have a right to question our involvement in it.

I can say with close to 100% confidence that no theoretical Iranian nukes are pointed at the USA mainland. Why would they be? If they're pointed anywhere they are pointed at Isreal. But they don't exist. Blowing up some underground research facility will do nothing to neutralize operational nuclear weapons. And if the Clerics running the country are faced with total defeat they'll use them if they have them. And if they have them then the mission needs to be taking the active nukes out. Not research facilities. Logically, focusing on taking out research leads to conclude no active capability exists.

Ya, and you miss Kamela I don't like Trump but the Iranian regime is about the most evil government on earth. I'm glad Trump isn't Bush and wanting to invade a country, which at the time I saw as just pure folly. I just hope this full pressure approach leads to a diplomatic solution, but that unfortuently leaves the regime in power. So, I guess there really isn't a winning play here. Bombing is no guarantee of success in anyway, but It has to be on the table. I also think Trump in many ways is a reaction against the failings of the Democratic Party who really needs to get their own house in order. Happy Juneteenth 1

Trump will never face another election and the midterms won't see the Democrats campaigning on foreign policy. I see this whole "MAGA civil War" as media theatre. Trump has sent his attack dogs against the weakest element in society, the poor immigrants and that is what pleases his base and he will never lose them, bombing Iran or not
