Obviously if he’s wearing a brace he’s not 100%. I’d say the brace gets him to 85%…. Then add on game ready percentages. Don’t be surprised if Max isn’t back in the roster until mid November….. That will give him 8 games prior to playoffs. Priority to that is the NFL trade deadline. CB may be one of those positions we go after. Max will not be 100% physically or game ready schematically this year. Knowing McD, he may not see the field. If he does it will be limited reps, down and distance and won’t be for another 5-6 games IMO. Off base. Brace is likely going to become a "sleeve" soon enough, I expect we open his window either next or week after - basically target a return very soon after bye week, dependent on health of DB room too. But he is playing a different role than both Walker and Phillips. Agree. My point is for all the playing time he’s gotten, you’d like to see it show up on the stat sheet for our 2nd round pick. I’m certainly not anti-Sanders and rooting for him. Quote

Yeah, the lack of tackles suggests that either A) Sanders is constantly getting double teamed and washed out of the play or B) he can’t get off his block to get to the ball carrier. And it’s not like he isn’t getting opportunities. Aside from the Jets game, the run defense has been a sieve, as resistant as tissue paper. Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted Thursday at 08:15 PM Posted Thursday at 08:15 PM Anyone have “informed speculation” regarding why this injury that was supposed to be 3-4 weeks is taking way longer than that? Quote

I am not saying it’s a good or bad thing myself. it does sort of drive me nuts though in the NBA. You have some guys that seem like they just sit for years due to vague soft tissue injuries. Quote

A lot of athletes wear them under their uniform. How else do you think they know how fast a guy ran during a play or how many miles a soccer player ran during a game? https://shop.statsports.com/products/apex-athlete-series Quote

IR timelines, ramp up timelines to get to game readiness after missing so much training camp, and a bye week to boot. Quote

It’s been like 8-10 weeks for an injury that was going to be 3-4. And he is wearing a brace. It would seem to me the injury was more significant not that we are owed the info it just seems worse than reported. 1 Quote

I read that the more severe variety is 8-12 weeks. We're currently at week 9, if my math is right. 1 Quote
