Virgil Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) There’s still quite a few seats available in the lower bowl of the new stadium, and the family is debating getting more tickets. For us, we like to sit as close to the field as we can, but where we can still make out the action anywhere on the field. Typically, we’ve found that anywhere closer than row 15-20, can be so close that there’s gaps in what we can see. It is nice to be closer to the players on the sideline, but I don’t see that as a benefit I care about all game. Also, I’m curious to know people’s thoughts on aisle seats vs being in the middle of a row. Again, no wrong answers, just curious about others perspectives. Edited 3 hours ago by Virgil Quote
SoCal Deek Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Virgil… I imagine that you’ll regret if you’re not under the roof. ( I always say the same out here in Southern California if the shadow is just quite not reaching our row and we’re cooking in full sun.)So if it was me I’d definitely go for the first few rows of the upper deck. The new stadium is smaller and steeper so the sight lines should be perfect. my two cents 1 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago My personal preference is lower bowl, Bills side, in the corner on the tunnel side of the field, and about 30 rows up. In current Highmark, that would be like Sections 129-126, row 25-35, aisle seat... chefs kiss. 1 Quote

Aisle seats always.. had season tickets for both the Bills and Sabres (in the Aud).. aisle .. just for obvious convenience . 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago close to the field and in the end zones / corners, and it’s very hard to make out how many yards some plays went for, especially running plays and especially when the action is down at the other end. My wife and I sit in 102 Row 1 for one or two home games every season and it’s always an awesome experience, but the above is a little off-putting. I actually prefer being in the middle of a row as opposed to on the aisle — less people crawling over you to get to the concourse for restrooms/concessions/whatever. Quote

If I know I'm going to multiple games, one would be fun closer to the action or the bench. But for actually following the game, 20 rows back, as close to the 50 is my preference. FG's are tough to gauge from there, but I also will just watch them on the scoreboard. I'm very curious about how the shadows will be with the canopy Quote

Augie Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I like to be at least 20 rows up, and I will even pay extra to be on an aisle if I was given a choice. I don’t mind getting up and down for people, but I HATE feeling trapped in the middle of a row. 2 Quote

Although I've been to some cold winter games where I greatly appreciated having people on both sides of me to absorb some wind. Quote

Our seats were the last row of the lower bowl, backing directly against the suites. Not only were we covered, but the people in the suite almost always opened it up so we got some climate control and some peeks at their monitors. That confused the wind as much as possible. I want to go see those seats if/when I get back for a game this year. They were not on the aisle, maybe 1/3 in, but they were sweet seats and full of great memories! I must say, that only partly made up for our seats under the seam in the roof at the Rockpile. When it rained the water collected on poured down on us like it was shot out of a fire hose! 🤣 1 Quote
Tenhigh Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I am 6'1, and the aisle can work a miracle for old knees. I love 20th row between the 30s if you can swing it. High enough to see the action but close enough to feel it. Quote
section122 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As my name might suggest I loved sitting in the endzone. We were right in the middle of the row 2 or 3 rows behind the top of the tunnel. I learned football strategy from madden (yes I know but seriously alignments, gaps, route trees, etc.) And that view is what I was used to. High enough to see yards gained, always the first to know if a fg was good or not, and added bonus players came and went right in front of us. That said I also love the 300s for the sidelines over the lower bowl. It was too hard to see over the players and anything that happened on the close sideline was blocked completely. Added bonus is the bathrooms at the top of the stadium are the best in the building lol. 1 Quote
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago Aisle for me. Convenience for me to beer line and if someone is crossing over, I can just jump in the aisle and let them out. I now prefer sitting under cover and with heat, but back in the day, anything above row 20 was fine for sight line. Steeper upper may be a bit too adventuresome for me with a fear of heights. Quote
