Recent extensions that look like albatrosses, money tied up in aging and oft-injured players who can’t do much of anything out there 

 

The arrogance on top of all this is icing on the cake of this deteriorating corpse of a roster that he’s saddled our best chance at ever winning a Super Bowl with. 

 

 

I'm praying that TJ Sanders and Walker develop fast enough before the playoffs and Bosa gets to 100% but I feel like I'm just grasping at unrealistic optimism.... Same with Hairston who seems talented but he's kinda going through his own camp right now. 

 

I don't know what they're going to do if we lose vs the Steelers and this thing goes backwards

I don't think anyone would mind a josh palmer if we drafted worthy and had Pickens and TJ Sanders actually looked like an impact player.

Im hearing Brad Pitt in moneyball saying were trying to recreate him in the aggregate. It aint working. Good news Isaiah Hodgins has more receiving yards this season than speedster Curtis Samuel and Hodgins has played 2 games.

• Cornerback (0.171)
• Interior Defensive Line (0.077)
• Wide Receiver (0.064)
• Edge (0.012)
• Running Back (-0.048)
• Tight End (-0.093)
• Linebacker (-0.123)
• Safety (-0.166)

I don't agree with this because the eye test tells me that elite WRs and EDGE players make game winning plays. But the data says to invest in QB and OL above all else, but CB and DT are also key to winning. That's what Beane has done and I think his smugness comes from the fact that he has the data on his side.

I couldn't even enjoy football today seeing all these massive plays wide receivers are making. It makes me feel sick 🤢 

Even just watching Dallas as a roster look way better than ours makes me realize how bad beane has been the past number of years. 

 

It's eye opening and it pisses me off

Or maybe instead of always trading UP for defensive players maybe for once you just trade UP for an offensive weapon not named Josh Allen. Luther Burden fell in the draft and went a couple picks before TJ Sanders. You get an extra 3rd for trading back for Coleman and take ANOTHER worthless D lineman in Carter instead of taking Troy Franklin. Heck you could’ve bypassed taking them both and traded up for BTJ. Beane is McDermotts puppet. Just watch the way McD pulled him to talk after the Bucs win or anytime McD is superglued to Beanes pocket in the draft room. They both need to go.

Draft them early and often and don’t pay them.

Beane overpaid for a guy who was a Chargers cast off that had one singular touchdown before the Bills decided to give him a fairly large deal

 

Palmer could be fine if he was a third or fourth option making around 3-5 mil/year 

 

Neither of those things are true, and Beane brought him here to play opposite of Coleman as a starter

I honestly wouldn't even mind the mediocre wrs we have if he actually drafted great dlineman.

 

That's the most disheartening part. I mean the eagles dline makes ours look like a jv team.  Texans dline etc.

 

KC front 7 completely dominated the colts running game

Watching the Texans game and anyone that knows football knows we can't compete with those guys. It's not reflective in the score but everyone can see it. 

 

I love this team and it's just upsetting. It's like watching Your brother lose a fight or something

I've seen the exact same thing over the past couple of years.  Guys routinely making great plays that you almost never see from Bills WR's.  You want to feel even worse?  Check out a slate of college games on Saturday and you will see that those kids are also making great catches and helping their QB's out.  The two starting WR's for Ohio State are better then any WR on the Bills TODAY.

This may be a good philosophy. Only issue is the dline investments are actually so bad it's becoming a sunk cost.

 

He still hasn't found a will Anderson, Chris Jones or Jalen Carter
