I can't stand hockey. I quit trying to watch it decades ago.

The officiating was joke, some of the rules were just stupid, and just the overall construct/behavior.

 

Hockey is just basketball played on ice horizontally w/a goaltender.  Takes more resources.  Box lax same concept too...

Since you are in WNY, ut is on CW23. Al Bandit games are on Ch23 (WIVB's "sister"station.

You have to go into search mode on ESPN+ and enter "BANDITS" to find the games.

This is not that far from the truth. In fact the best way to watch hockey is from the end zones. You really see the plays develop from that perspective.

Watched it on TSN out of Canada. Bandits win! Warriors goalie was clutch, but the Bandits are just a championship team. Finals in 2 weeks.

I don't have cable. I have an app that gets all US Local Stations, and luckily I get TSN out of Canada and watched some of it on there (in between Winnipeg vs. St. Louis).

11-9 winners in Vancouver to take the series 2-0...McKay continues to be on fire with another hat trick, giving him 9 goals in the 3 playoff games and also had an assist trick leading the Bandits with 6 points in the win...

 

Chase Fraser had the final goal and the nail in the coffin to get his own Hat Trick on what might have been the goal of the year, taking a pass off a pick and roll from Dhane Smith and going in between his legs with a bounce shot to leave the Vancouver goalie wondering what the hell just happened

Spend  $30 or so and buy an antenna to put in the window. Get all the kodak channels and some from Olean. Certain times, I can get a station out of the Ithaca area. Just can't get WBBZ (67- Me TV). If you are in the Southtows, you should get it. Signal is very weak in the immediate Buffalo area.

Meh. Don't need an antenna. My app did carry it. Just not on ESPN + as it was on TSN.

There's no such thing as sports gods tho lol 

 

I really like the bandits but they're still tons of people in Western New York who have no idea about the sport 

 

There's still more sabres fans than bandits fans.. the arena attendance numbers means nothing 

 

The bandits are fun for family and good , so people pack it in.. you can also get season tickets pretty cheap 

 

The sabres have sucked for 15 years and it's still expensive

 

I'd still get more joy out of the sabres winning a Stanley cup or the bills winning the super bowl without a doubt
