She could’ve asked the question with a not so derogatory tone and facial expression and he took extreme exception to that. When I heard her ask the question the way she did, I cringed in real time. Then cringed even harder with his reaction. She’s a sideline reporter who, given she was assigned the Bears/Raiders game, is probably still learning her craft and trying to climb her way up the ladder. Maybe she was a little nervous. Maybe she will get better at delivery. She probably had the question given to her by a producer and did not ad lib it. He is at the top of his profession but new so he is probably on a bit of a learning curve himself. If he’s not qualified to avoid mocking a four foot nine female reporter and so weak that he needs to double down by getting in her face…….he’s got a douche bag problem that is not ever going to be solved regardless of his job. Your comparison is apples and Buicks. 1 1 Quote

A snarky question from a reporter isn't a reason to be physically imposing to a female to the extent that I don't find her question, or the tone in which it was asked even worth mentioning. This is a Ben Johnson problem. Full stop. There's no excuse for it. Edited Monday at 07:57 PM by Mango Quote

Your comparison is apples and Buicks. What comparison? lol, I agree with pretty much all of that. His situation is much worse. He’s a douche and probably won’t be changing anytime soon. she may have been a nervous reporter that struggled with her delivery. She may added some pepper to her question to see if she’d get a response. Idk- either way, Ben Johnson seems to suck and I’m starting to think that we did right to keep McDermott and not hire him. Bad vibes for sure Edited Monday at 08:13 PM by NewEra Quote

Doesn't work so well in the end I think he will find out. I saw that live and instantly lost respect for the man. She is doing her job and asked one tiny bit tough question and this dude couldn't control his snark! His team lucked into a win yesterday but I will hope his HC career crashes and burns 1 Quote

She got what she was hoping for but both look bad imo. She asked a fluff question.. not a great one. Having said that he’s an absolute ass 🎩!! Show some EQ you lead a huge entity that represents Chicago. Take the high road when you can. Be like McD on these , Casper milk toast. I would not want this guy as the face of my franchise. His clock management was once again dysfunctional. Next time she should ask “ Your clock mgmt is once again in question here at the half, how can you suck less at that? “ 😂 1 Quote

People liked it when Popovich mocked dumb comments from the NBA media, but now this is a problem because the sideline reporter is a woman. And yes, he needs to handle himself better, but people would've laughed if the reporter was a dude. Edited Monday at 08:47 PM by BigDingus 1 1 Quote

Popovich was a bully and spent great amounts of time lecturing the world on his political views .. like BB ( being a jerk) that era has passed. Reporters do need to ask better questions. The halftime?s are just a waste of time. That’s the most anyone has noticed 😂 Quote

It was kind of a dumb comment by the reporter and he was obviously caught off guard but I don't really see how he reacted badly to it. 1 Quote
BringBackFergy Posted Tuesday at 01:20 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 01:20 AM If we’re averaging 34 PPG, are there still people saying Pegula should have fired McD and hired BJ to make our team better? Anyone? Bueller? Quote

And since the defense is his side of the ball, the only way that's changing is if McDermott is no longer the HC. 1 Quote

The Raiders and particularly Geno Smith literally tried to give them the football game over and over and he couldn’t take advantage of it. They won though in the end and again that’s what matters but if it wasn’t for the Titans I’d argue the Raiders are the worst team in the NFL right now Jets are fighting with TN for that spot! Quote
