He offers nothing on special teams, and I doubt he cracks the Big 4 (Kincaid, Samuel, Shakir, Coleman) here. I think his numbers will average out to that, but he won’t get there. Coleman’s role will increase as the season progresses and Shakir will get targets. To be clear, thats not accurate. Morse is still a good player, and he got released for cap reasons. When a team in significant need of WR help dumps a cheap WR for a 5th round pick, they are not good at their job. Zay was very much bad at his job here. And by your account anyway, he must suck still because as you said bad players get cut. Zay was just cut. Jax thought so little of him they signed Gabe Davis then drafted Thomas when they badly need CB help with some of the best corners in the draft on the board at that pick. John Brown, Beasley, and Diggs all had career years with Allen. Why wouldn’t Samuel have a career year? Samuel is getting 100+ targets next year.
