Hate to say it, but Allen's bad INT really contributed. He played great for 99% of the game, and the one mistake he made was a back breaker.

Besides that, officiating was really bad. Bass missing kicks. McDermott not being able to adjust well to the Eagles adjustments. And Gabe Davis not looking for the ball in an obvious situation where he should have been looking for the ball.

And every time Sherfield came in for Diggs, it was a disaster. What was up with Diggs? Why did he need to leave the field so much?

Statistically this play was probably the biggest negative impact on the game, besides the TD that won it lol

It's the refs, McDermott as a decision maker as well as the DC/leader of that defense, and missed execution on a few specific play on offense. It's all 3 of these things because if any one of them had been different we would have won. An evenly officiated game we win, a defense that isn't absent after the first half, seriously Eagles score 5/7 drives after the first half, gets us the win, and we get points on some of those plays we should have and or obviously get the TD in OT we win.

It's extremely frustrating that there so many things that if they had been different we'd have won but it is what it is.

FACTS:

Bass missed FGs

Josh threw a bad INT

Cook dropped a possible TD

Davis and Allen had the miscommunication

Refs were ATROCIOUS.

ALSO FACT:

Even after all that, Josh Allen and the offense left the field TWICE in the final 2 minutes and OT with the lead. And our DEFENSIVE minded HC could not scheme up a stop.

This was like a low budget sequel to 13 Seconds. Call it "20 Seconds: Electric Boogaloo".

Even more important FACT:

Our D gave the ball to our "seriously good" Offense numerous times in the game, three 3-and-out in the first half for the Eagles! Our O came away with 3 points after those 3-and-outs by the Eagles. Gimme a frickin break with you tools today. Wow. The team played amazing against a 9-1 NFL leading team. Lot's to blame or maybe just enjoy it! Losing frickin sucks but my buddah... fire this...fire that.... That was the toughest game on our sked. We are in trouble but that has no merit on what happened last night. maybe if we had better players overall....

Let's institute a demerit system

Bass gets 3 demerits for yesterday

Three demerits, and you'll receive a citation.

Five citations, and you're looking at a violation.

Four of those and you'll receive a verbal warning.

Keep it up and you're looking a written warning.

Two of those, that'll land in a world of hurt, in the form of a disciplinary review written up by me and placed on the desk of my superior.

Write it up by the end of the day or you'll receive a full disadulation.

Add Cook and Davis to the poll. Officials calling zero PIs on 51 pass attempts when Slay was mugging people was another contributing factor.

Feels like I should state the obvious that there was no single play that lost the football game but rather a confluence of mistakes and missed opportunities but I don't want to interfere with your lynching.

thank you sir, one knows to not interfere with a nice lynching seattle seahawks nfl GIF

Oh no amazing point. So much fun seeing things like last night. And the Hail Murray. And 13 seconds. And the collapse at home against Minnesota last year. And the meltdown playoff game against the Bengals last year. And the dumb ending with the Broncos this year. And....should I keep going or are you having too much fun???

We have soooo many fun and exciting "moral victory" banners from the McDermott era. So so many.

See, it's not all about what last night was. It's the cumulative failings of this team going all the way back...even before the loss to Urban Meyer...no even further back then that. It's ingrained in this team now to fall short. That's the defining theme of McDermott's whole tenure here.

I get your point. Or.. it's called the NFL. And our team just isn't that good. There, now you know.

I’d jive with this more if the defense didn’t give up a preposterous td on a 3rd and 15 to a scrub wr after the int.

it’s hard for me to hate on the INT when josh should’ve had 5 total tds if cook doesn’t drop that pass since we’re on the topic of mistakes

Bass is getting a lot of extra ***** because we let some ####### block one of his kicks, he wouldn't have looked near as bad if that hadn't happened.

He’s been missing kicks for weeks now…missed one against Denver too and one against NE and one against NYG

Gee, if only there is a person or a set of people that could be held accountable for assembling a team that...as you say just isn't that good. Oh, wait there is? It's a GM and a coach! There...now you know!

Have a fantastic Monday!

I’d say the circus td on 3rd and 15 after the INT was a bigger impact.  There’s just no way that can be allowed to happen

should’ve gotten the ball back in a tie game

The INT gave the Eagles a 75% probability of winning.

Allen scoring on the next drive gave the Bills an 80% probability to win that increased to 95% before the end of regulation.

In short, Allen eradicated that INT quickly.

Yes, the Bills had a 95% probability of winning with less than a minute to go.

What was it just before the fg…that was like a 1/100 type make I don’t think people are really grasping that lol. In decent weather that’s a tough enough fg
