Not have I ever seen proof that he was a ticket holder of each. And of course most people only found out about his “love for the team” only came out as he purchased them. Same with his “care about the community” the guy literally owned almost nothing in the area. Then as soon as he bought the Sabres he started building his empire in downtown Buffalo. Look for him to monopolize some new hotels, restaurants, and bars in OP after the new stadium is built. He doesn’t care about the area. He cares about money in his pocket. I like the direction the experience for the stadium is heading. I'm glad the college atmosphere is going away. I welcome the hotels, bars and restaurants. I only said that Pegula will be lining his pockets even more with the way things are headed. He spent care about the town. He doesn’t live here. He lives in Florida and his yatch. He comes here for Bills games once a week and that’s it. I’m sure he’ll have some incredible owners suite with full apt and a helo pad somewhere in the new stadium. However, there were several articles at the time of his purchases that referenced his season tickets ownership. As for the rest of it, I have no particular affection for the guy, either. You stated that you are looking forward to hotels and restaurants and bars and I was letting you know that there is nothing that hints at this happening. No large chain will build based off 8 days of business a year. Not sure why even a local restaurant would build there for 8 days of business. It makes no fiscal sense, which probably explains why we see no permits being pulled around the stadium for any of these.
