Maybe don't storm the Capital if you don't like jail.

Not bad advice, but the fact is you could do far worse and be right back on the street in hours. All due to moronic liberal policies in place across the USA. Literally happens every day. The handling of these cases and their sentencing is outrageous and politically motivated, while Dems smooch the posterior of actual common criminals daily.

Zero proof of widespread fraud still.  Because morons believe the biggest liar of them all, the man who became king of the swamp.

For the vast majority of them, yes. While I don’t support what you’re describing, common criminals get far more lenient treatment for worse offenses daily. This is obvious if you’re paying attention. The biggest liars of all are the Democrat party.

No, actually they are not. The average criminal is treated much better, even put back on the streets just hours after being charged with crimes far more serious than trespassing. That is the result of liberal “ justice reform”. Formerly known as being soft on crime or coddling criminals. The Colbert crew was quickly set free after trespassing. Not surprisingly , you haven’t been paying attention.

Just in case anybody is wondering, this is almost entirely false, and the Jan 6 rioters are being treated about the same as most criminals.

Hundreds of Jan 6th defendants were released while awaiting trial and Dem Senators opposed any defendants being placed into solitary confinement.

As of September of 2021, only 40 of the 600 people arrested remained in jail awaiting trial

As of March 2022, only about 10% of the 775 people arrested for Jan 6 remain in pretrial detention

Of the ~850 people arrested, 325 have already plead guilty.

Delays in Jan 6 prosecutions due to volume of evidence, numbers of defendants, and fallout from COIVD

Far from the "DC Gulag" of political prisoners, what we have here is 90% of the Jan 6 rioters being released pre-trial while only 10% remain in detention. The delays in trials are from the obvious fallout from arresting so many people in such a short period of time, in conjunction with the already existing problems with our court system.

Total BS. So less than half have plead  guilty, about 40 too many remain jailed  and Dems showed their compassion by opposing “ solitary confinement “ which in truth doesn’t even exist in 99% of jails. They’re not being treated the same: not even close but continue throwing goose poop at the wall. Maybe some will stick.

I quoted multiple sources that show that only 10% of the Jan 6th defendants remain in pre-trial detention. Do you have evidence to the contrary?

I disagree. Aggressively storming the Capital with the intent of interfering with the certification is pretty ***** serious.

They made their choices.

Tell it to the black guy in jail for 20 years because he sold a bag of weed to an undercover cop.

I love how ya'll are all about the plight of the poor prisoners now. Law and order, amirite?

Exactly.   A better argument can be made for sedition than a slap on the wrist.

Another BS example that never happens … you forgot to add it was after his 43rd arrest. Your record has a little something to do with it. Y’all need to take your dunce cap off once in awhile.

True. Nobody is doing decades in prison for "selling a bag of weed." Just doesn't happen.

Even most (all?) of the crack-era war on drugs people sentenced to major time were involved in significant trafficking.

I'm not going to belittle the consequences of a drug-related conviction on a lot of people - can't qualify for student loans, barred from a lot of jobs, etc, often for the classic "youthful offense." But 20 years in jail for selling a small amount of weed?. No. That's a myth.

Dunce cap?  You believe in widespread election fraud with zero proof because an orange imbecile who lied to you a thousand times told you so?  Who still believes it despite the orange shiite's own people telling him it's all fake?

If you'd self evaluate for just a moment you might realize ya look silly.

You've never added anything to any conversation.  I suspect you're just plain dumb.  I'd love to hear in your words what, and how, Biden has destroyed.

What this has to do with insurrectionist scum (probably some of your qanon buddies) I don't know.

We know that unverifiable unrequested paper ballots were sent out. The Governors told us they were doing it! Since Biden only “ won” by a few thousand votes in the key swing states ( our electoral system is such that a few extra million votes in deep blue states like NY and CA don’t make a difference) it’s not hard to figure out what happened. Add in that Dem leaders fought all attempts to electronically verify signatures on ballots ( they even opposed a threshold of just 40% that a signature was valid ) prior to the election. It’s pretty obvious that fraudulent ballots were counted in these key states. Stuffing the ballot box is the oldest trick around. Of course, you trot out the same tired excuse : there is zero evidence . Well, there can’t be due to  the Dems opposing all security standards and their pals in the State courts made any attempt at verification impossible. A coup took place all right , but it happened on election night 2020.

No proof is a tired excuse?  Lol look at what you type!

Recount after recount and still nada.  It must be hard living in an alternate reality.  No matter what happens you'll just trot out some other lame nonsense which is 100% the reason for the current political climate.   Ya'll nuts.

As if there was this grand conspiracy,  people risking their freedom for an election mind you, nobody would squeal.  If what you say were true (it ain't) someone would talk or screw it up.  I'm glad at least some of your buddies who tried to shame our country are rotting in jail.   Though they're apparently being treated better than they deserve (huge shock you had another conspiracy about their treatment).

One problem is this.  The people cheating in key Democrat controlled districts in several swing States, in general delivering just enough fake mail-in ballots to win the Statewide race, are the same local election officials and party members assigned the responsibility to manage the election process and ensure the vote is fair.  Producing proof through auditing the vote counts require the cooperation of those people.  In order for any audit to be performed the people cheating must be willing to assist in activities that will implicate them in cheating.  How exactly would that work?  Maybe we need United Nations observers at polling places to ensure the vote is fair like they do in places like Zimbabwe?
