Conan's the only one who has done it right in 30+ years. Colbert was much better as a caricature. Gutfeld just gets spite views, he's not actually a funny or interesting individual either, c'mon. Cavett was good. The current breed of late night hosts, SNL cast, TV show reboots, and their writers have alienated half of their potential American audience by over-politicizing content. They naively expect all viewers to nod in agreement with cheap shots and misguided attacks on those who lean right of center. Worst of all...they're attempts at most of their comedy falls flat.
