The matter was “investigated”, proceeded through the house and senate, sidestepping questions of constitutionality, the absence of the Chief Justice of the SC, does not follow the processes associated with our criminal court system, and the Dems control the house, senate and executive branch. Just prior to the acquittal a hubbub and stir is created about witnesses—call em, don’t call em, if you call yours we’ll call a hundred!— like a middle school mock trial.
