I feel you. It’s not fun being the permanent minority party.

Dems probably hated that through the 80’s as well.

Truth is I'm a registered democrat and grew up in a pro-democrat union household.  But this isn't the democratic party of my youth.  This is an entirely different animal here.  The current crop of leaders doesn't much care about union people except for getting their votes one day in November each year or for that matter working people in general.

I'm just trying to see the humor in the tragic comedy that is unfolding before us here.  Quite simply they're leading this country down the crapper both socially and economically and by 2022 there isn't going to be much support to keep that "permanent majority" in place.  And admit it.  Do you really believe Biden is anything more than a front man for his handlers in the shadows?  50 years from now historians will be wondered what collective insanity took place during this period.

I’m a Union Democrat also. I’m not a Progressive. Biden is the first President in my lifetime to even mention unions and working people.

This infrastructure/jobs training/whatever else program that’s next up will be make or break for him. So far, they haven’t been able to drag him into any social issues. I think he’s very aware of the mistakes Obama made. If he just sticks to jobs/economy I think he’ll be impossible to beat.

The whole political landscape changed. It’s funny because some of these same posters were here 10 years ago chasing the same ghosts in tan suits. That “smear” style of politics is coming to an end.

As far as the GOP, they just let Trump take control of the PACS which will control the messaging and money flow to future candidates. That’s no a way forward at all. That’s a death spiral!

The GOPs biggest issue is that they try to govern and win elections with fear. We saw it this election (and every one ever), if the Democrats win the US will be a socialist country.

If Dems win they will take your guns.

If we allow gay marriage people will have sex with ducks (actual GOP talking point). And so on.

Biden is such a vanilla candidate and so centrist it’s hard for them to run a campaign against him using his same old tactics.

The Dems pushed healthcare Obama term 1 and did an awful job of marketing it. ACA always polled exceptionally strong when they polled the individual things ACA did. Republicans got ahead of the fear mongering with lies like the death care panels. Them getting ahead of messaging killed the Dems in mid-terms.

The Republicans are already trying to setup their boogeyman this election cycle with immigration. They already have a favorable path in the House but I don’t think you’ll see the gains post Obamacare because it doesn’t seem to be resonating except to Trumps base.

MyPillow's Mike Lindell claims Trump will 'be back in office in August' in Steve Bannon podcast rant

CC: @B-Man - can you please post this in the 5,000 page Election Fraud thread ATOP? I know all 10 of you need something to talk about.

Not this August but let's think about this.

1.  Trump Runs for Congress in 2022 and the Republicans win back the house

2.  Trump becomes Speaker of the House

3.  Biden and Harris get impeached and removed

4.  Trump become President

5.  Trump POTUS for 10 years!!

🤣

Yes that is exactly what I've said.

You get beaten and you pull that ***** out?

What I'm against is how they plan to pay for it.  Any ideas how infrastructure that doesn't include increasing corp taxes?

Here's a great idea.  Float municipal bonds.  With more and more boomers retiring and wanting income what better motivation that to give them tax free income.  With taxes likely going up in the not too distant future an income generating vehicle that for whatever reason has gone out of favor could make a roaring comeback.

Does anyone think anymore??
