Rc2catch Posted December 29, 2020 Share Posted December 29, 2020 Similar to Shaq you should take the 5th year option. It’s not that costly and that extra cost controlled year can be huge. I still think it was a mistake to not take lawsons 5th year. If he plays lights out in year 5 I guess they can tag him. This is assuming that exercising his 5th year option is not detrimental to extending Allen. The 5th year option for Linebacker this year was $9Mil so I probably pick it up as it gives you another two years of control (obviously...)
