If you don't live here why does this bother you so much?   You wouldn't wear a mask to help up a fellow Bills fan?

Well you can’t even offer proof that wearing masks does much of anything. The two places in the world that are struggling the most had the strictest lockdowns and mandatory mask use. Hawaii and Peru are a mess. The only reason NY is doing good now is because of how bad you did in the beginning. Cuomo taking credit for low numbers now that are only happening because so many got infected under his initial incompetence.
That being said if you can help your fellow man you should do it, but wearing a cloth mask outdoors is an exercise in stupidity, totally unnecessary.

I do wear a mask. I do currently live in the emperor state. Emperor cuomo is terrible for anything other than NYC and why I’m in the process of leaving. He’s a hypocrite and just as bad of a governor as trump is president. But I’m done with political talk on the main board.

Think he's bad? Try on His Lordship, Baron Murphy of NJ.

Why? These guys are getting tested constantly and if they're playing, wouldn't that mean that they are negative? I don't see the point in why players that will be standing in the huddle with each other and have tested negative would have to all wear face coverings on the sideline. It doesn't make sense

What % of the state population does nyc have?  64%.

Right now fear mongering causes people to blindly follow and not think. It’s crazy how many people just listen to the magic box in their living room

Ok, genius, what is it that you think that is so superior to us morons?

And nobody needs to rely on the “magic box” given the amount of empirical data available on government and non-government sites.

But I get it, you’re just so much smarter than everyone else.

Absolute bull crap. I’d like to see studies supporting your theories from reputable sources. Masks work. That’s why medical professionals have been wearing them for years. Tinfoil hat much?

You are suggesting herd immunity in NY, which is so laughable it stupid.

People who can’t see the value in wearing masks ANYWHERE you can’t stay over 6 feet away from people are ... not smart. Indoor or out.

We should be doing everything possible to ensure people who are at risk of catching the disease and being killed by it are safe. Surely you know someone in that boat?

You believe the government? Maybe your sarcasm is the truth.

I believe in data compiled by both government and non government entities. And it dovetails nicely with common sense.

And I wasn’t being sarcastic. You have a superiority complex and I was just acknowledging that.

I could be wrong but I believe someone said that it's actually written on the box from the makers that the masks don't provide protection from covid 19

Really, whats wrong with you? We have people in this thread dealing with serious health issues and your worried about the inconvenience of a mask to protect them.  Grow up

Cheers Mike. I come down to your neck of the woods from time to time and will happily treat you to lunch when I make it next. People here know what I’m dealing with and these a** hats claiming an infringement on their liberty is comedic. WWII anyone?

No COVID-19 rules make sense. Not a single one.  All are based on superstition, the need  to control others, and the desire to virtue signal.  But you’re right; this one is particularly asinine.
