- Rittenhouse worked for the business he was defending.

- Rittenhouse observed absurd levels of trigger discipline.

- Rittenhouse was rushed by Gaige Grosskruetz, 26.  A member of The People’s Revolution Movement, a Communist organization, and a convicted felon for whom it is a felony to possess a gun.  Grosskruetz was chasing Rittenhouse, with the stated intention of “unloading the entire magazine into (Rittenhouse)”.

 

- Rittenhouse fired a single shot into the arm of Grosskruetz.

 

- Rittenhouse was attacked by Joseph Rosenbaum, 36.  Rosenbaum, a convicted pedophile, registered as a sex offender in two states, attacked Rittenhouse, knocking him to the ground and tried to disarm him before he was fatally shot for his efforts.  Rittenhouse fired two shots at Rosenbaum.

 

- Rittenhouse was attacked by Anthony Huber, 26.  Huber, a convicted wife beater, attacked Rittenhouse with a skateboard while he was already on the ground.  He is on video hitting him in the head and face with a weapon.  Rittenhouse fired a single shot into Huber, killing him, ending the assault.
 

- Rittenhouse showed incredible restraint from a defensive firearms training perspective.  He was justified in shooting each aggressor far earlier than he did.

 

- Rittenhouse, in a crowded area, under riot conditions, fired only four shots, eliminating all three threats with no collateral damage.

 

As far as the OP goes, Rittenhouse was in the wrong.  The pedophile, the wife beater, and the convicted felon, all Communist revolutionaries, all assaulting him, atleast one with the expressed intent to murder him, are downtrodden heroes.

I was just chatting with a bunch of friends about how incredible he actually was. Whether or not his intent was to destroy that guys right arm and immediately end that threat, or whether it was just luck...the fact that he immediately recognized that that threat was now neutralized and fired no additional shots - all under extreme pressure- was truly extraordinary.

If I had a 17 year old son who told me he was going to go to work after hours with a rifle to defend his employer's property in that environment I would have advised him not to go and would have prevented it however necessary.  Too risky for not much reward.  I'd call Rittenhouse very foolish.

 

That said looking at the videos he performed (there's probably a better word for it) with amazing poise and discipline especially for his age.  He was very prepared, much more so than his attackers.  He has obviously studied and is trained in the use of firearms and in law enforcement and in the rules of engagement.  This could have ended up very badly for him, he easily could have been killed.  His antagonists were also very foolish and some paid the price. 

 

What's happened in Kenosha is no different than a sibling battle.  One throws a punch never thinking about what comes after that and so on.  The lack of law enforcement we've seen in several cities in recent months essentially guarantees escalation making these outcomes predictable.

 

Detroit is one city that has nipped this in the bud essentially by making arrests upon the first brick being thrown and not allowing mobs to block streets and loot.

It’s the very best trigger discipline I’ve ever seen, bar none.

 

He was being assaulted by multiple people, in the middle of a riot, fired exactly four shots to stop three targets, with zero collateral damage, from his ass/back after enduring multiple assaults.
 

The should use him to teach classes.

We used to raise our children to believe in higher ideals.
