Can he kick FGs and PATs?  Preferably from long distances?  Bring him in!  Even if New England gets a compensatory draft pick!

The NFL couldn’t begin to pay his salary.

He earns approximately $34.1m/yr in salary alone, plus he’s one of the few teams sports athletes in the world who owns the complete rights to his own image, which any team he signs for will have to negotiate to use.  It is speculated that his entire compensation is between $80-$100m/yr.

I bet he leaves Barcelona every summer.  It's a big tourist city that time of year.

We were there last fall, and it was shocking how many people were walking around dragging luggage behind them. I’ve never seen anything quite like that before - it really jumps out at you. GREAT city, and we plan to be back a year from October if......ya know..... we have to have this figured out by then, right?

He wouldn't take the pay cut to play in the NFL.

He would have to understand that he has virtually no track record of pressure kicks.  He has never made a PAT!  I really think he and his agent would be foolish to expect much more than $2 million to $4 million with a load of incentives.

I'd venture to guess that a goalie would be a better option for kicking
