My sister and B-I-L meanwhile have had to deal with their middle kid dying ,my B-I-L's mother and brother (his only family) both having strokes and being in nursing homes and having to sell her house. Wow, a lady I know wrote a book about the stress on the caregiver in dealing with people with Alzheimers/Dementia. In our case, my father-in-law is currently principle caregiver, and he's a very accomplished guy used to controlling just about everything. This has been extraordinarily hard on him. I have a feeling this time around that people honestly want to see whether Biden has slipped so much from his last debate in March. That's the murmurings -- he's got to prove doubters wrong, IMO. With Biden, nobody is sure. Seems to be an extremely important (low) hurdle to cross over. Trump has been labeled an imbecile for four years. He's lowered the expectations for Joe so much that if he doesn't set the podium on fire during the debate then the media will say Joe killed it.
