My issue is with your focusing on White's reaction to Fromm's texts in what SOME (not NECESSARILY me, but you can go ahead and throw me in there for good measure) would call a deflection is it completely and probably deliberately misses the context of what precipitated their release and subsequent uproar. I actually think this is reasonably argued. And I’m someone who did not agree with your initial remarks. I personally think Tre is fired up and has never shied away from being outspoken. I don’t think he’s a bad guy, just a pissed off guy. I think this whole thing will blow over by TC and be water under the bridge. Several of Fromm’s teammates have stood up for him already. Are you saying the events of the last two weeks somehow makes Fromm's decision to send that message a year earlier worse, or that Tre gets a pass on account of having enflamed emotions? The issues with the protests, and demands for social change will live on, this is a very real movement. Fromm’s texts will be forgotten. I’ll never ask anyone to condone those texts, but I think there’s overreaction from people on both sides. He’ll address the team, his teammates will be done talking about it, and the world will move on. I’m not even attempting to defend Fromm, but just stating human nature.
