Forgetting the fact that National Socialism is a completely different and opposed thing from Socialism, do you believe that because someone calls themseleves a thing, that's what they are? Do you think The Congo is a Democratic Republic? Is North Korea a Democratic People's Republic? How About China? Are Al-Qaeda freedom fighters?

People are what their actions say they are.

By refusing to give states the aid they requested, he assisted their decline which will make them far more vulnerable to his future executive actions.

Absurd, so let me get this straight,  he wants them to decline so then he can really really take control later, is that how it works?

As for your the Nazis werent real socialists non-sense,  these are from the NAZI platform, the first 17 points are pretty straightforward common sense and  benign but point 11 to 18....   banned investment income, confiscation of profits, nationalization of trusts, generous pensions, communalization of department stores, the end of land rent and speculation, and the execution of certain profiteers and lenders,  pt 21 nationalized healthcare, pt 22 abolish the regular army , pt 23 control over the media and content (PC in today's age) 24 "common good before individual good" final point 25 strong central government to intrude into the lives of the citizens.

Yeah you keep telling me Tump is the Nazi.

Every day this thread starts out civil and information filled.

Court case today from the 5th Circuit ruled that abortion clinics are non-essential services, a topic I'll avoid but this quote speaks to what the Surgeon General was saying about tracing contacts and some of the debate here about it. Judge Duncan is a Trump appointee and the Jacobsen case he refers to found that states could force people to get vaccinated (during a smallpox outbreak). The emphasis on "all" is in the opinion.

"Jacobson instructs that all constitutional rights may be reasonably restricted to combat a public health emergency," wrote Judge Stuart Kyle Duncan for the majority.

Over the last few days and weeks we’ve seen plenty of facepalm-worthy examples of new rules and regulations from government officials in certain states, and this one in Ohio has gotten some attention:

The "stay at home" order was meant to enforce social distancing, not make it de facto house arrest. This is horrible. Just horrible.

Why just crush the virus, when you can crush people’s spirits, too, amirite?

You know what that is BB ??

REALLy?

Apparently you dont think he is too bright or well educated.  Maybe he has he an 75 IQ you think we should waste "the governments" (the taxpayers) money on him for higher education?

I got academic scholarships, college loans and worked all through college including a graduate degree, didnt have my parent pay one penny.  Why the hell should i as a taxpayer pay for someone else to go for free?  Do i get the money back or time i spent working?

You should pay for it because a higher educated populace results in a stronger workforce, which results in a higher GDP which results in a higher quality of life for you, your family, your neighbors and your country. It also can result in a more socially and civically conscious electorate which makes our quality of life better in a ton of different ways. In the end it's an investment in our community that pays handsome returns.

I also didn't have anyone pay a cent of my over 6 figures in student loans, and I don't need or want the student loan reform to benefit me personally.

And I believe that all tyrants lives should be reasonably restricted to combat the abuse of constitutional rights.

Yes. Paying for little susie to go to Bum***** College to take Womyn's Studies is VERY important to our future.

I know you don't understand math or science, but they're important for our individual and national well-being. You'll have to take my word on that.

Let's be clear, cro-magnon. You know nothing about me. Which is an improvement over what you know about other topics.

Is the "he" you're talking about the TX Governor and conservative judges who wrote the decision in support of the "tyrannical rule" that an abortion clinic is non-essential?

The decision is not a simple political litmus test. I am surprised that a conservative court set up so much governmental power in this crisis but at least as far as tracking contacts go, it's a good sign. As far as making sure the government doesn't overstep its bounds, not so much.

You aren't half the enigma you appear to be, kid. I see your mouth-breathing, low IQ MAGA clones everywhere I go these days.
