How did the Dems and our liberal media get Italy to shut down over this overblown virus story?  Is that Soros or the Clinton's?  Man, those MF'ers are powerful!!

Dishonest as ever, Bob. Never stop making an ass out of yourself. It’s your brand.

PHOTOS: After Columbia canceled classes over COVID-19, students gathered in the middle of campus to catch some sun

On Monday, Columbia University canceled classes after someone involved with the school was quarantined after being exposed to the COVID-19 virus:

Great. The full cost of attending the schools is about $70,000 per year and they’re going to switch to online education? Will they be issuing refunds?

.

So, they cancel classes to prevent people from grouping together and spreading the virus, and the students decide to use that opportunity to group together independently.

Maybe this would help you understand Italy's situation....or maybe not.

So, their economic closeness to China has led to the outbreak being worse in Italy than in many other countries.  I guess that was your point?  OK, seems reasonable

The point I was making was that the Dems and the US media are not impacting Italian decisions to take radical containment measures.  The Dems and the media are not hyping this danger and this story simply to hurt Trump, as is being implied by several posters.  The danger is very real and if the outbreak gets out of control here, we will all know people that will die from this virus this year.

Doing the math, if half the population (165 million) of the US gets this over the next year or so and even if the death rate falls from 2-3% down to 0.5%, over 800,000 Americans would pass on.  Hopefully we can contain it better than that and we can develop some effective treatments, but certainly this corona virus is worth pulling the alarm

if the death rate for all coronavirus infections is .5% it would be lower than the deaths from the flu, of which we have vaccines for.

come on, Bob. do not fall prey to the fear mongering.

(WHEC) — Wegmans is limiting the purchase of more personal care and cleaning items.

With people across the country reporting shortages of things like disinfectant wipes and toilet paper, including one Bishop Kearney graduate who is now living in King County, Washington, Wegmans says it’s limiting the purchase of certain items to ensure they’re available for all customers.

The grocery chain has already limited the purchase of hand sanitizer to three bottles per order.

On Tuesday, Wegmans announced the following items will also be limited to three per order:

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Alcohol wipes and prep pads
  • Hydrogen peroxide

They also announced the following products are limited to two per order:

  • All Wegmans disinfecting wipes, 75 count
  • All Clorox disinfecting wipes
  • All Lysol disinfecting wipes
  • Forty counts of Wegmans towelettes
  • Thirty-five and 24 counts of Wegmans water

The following items are limited to one per day:

  • Family Packs of Wegmans bath tissue
  • Family packs of Wegmans soft bath tissue

Wegmans says they’ve seen buying habits similar to trends that normally precede a storm, with customers stocking up on the above products, as well as foods with long shelf lives, and an increase in online orders.

Wegmans the company is increasing its orders based on demand.
