HOF4LOU
Anyone notice the trend of qbs reading plays off those wristbands? I always felt qbs who did not rely on them, seemed to perform better (no proof but a gut feeling). But then I found it hard to find a qb who didn't use them anymore.....until last night. The expected MVP Wilson vs Garropolo. I got a kick out of watching Wilson all night look at his teammates in their eyes while in the huddle vs Garropolo who had his eyes glued to his cheat sheet to read them the play. Just my opinion but I would prefer the Wilson method. Thoughts?

theAteam
I feel like Shanahan is the kind of guy with a playbook so complicated you need the wristband.
tcampbell104
i think it might depend on how long the qb has been in that system 1

EmotionallyUnstable
how do you feel about hand warmers? The non-dominant hand glove? I get it. But it doesn’t bother me either way.

947
It's all about the terminology used. If a team uses simple terminology, you can realistically call entire plays to the QB & expect him to relay it all correctly in the huddle. If using really complex terminology with like 10 word plays, the OC will just call out a play designation number/letter & the QB will read it off the wristband, easier that way. Nextmanup
I'm in favor of doing every possible thing to improve player performance on all levels. As long as the cheat sheet improves the QB's play and doesn't hinder it, and is legal, why in the world wouldn't you use one?
