what are you talking about?

im entertaining your theories here. You’re not making any sense. The Dems are currently going through this impeachment inquiry about Ukraine. This Cohen fiasco happened last year. If what you’re saying Is true, why didn’t they just or don’t they just impeach on this obvious campaign finance crime (you’re words not mine)

Dems just letting criminal justice system do its job there. Trump trying to steal the next election required immediate attention though.

Im just playing out Tibs logic. <-----  (there's your problem)

he said trump committed a crime via Michael Cohen, but he can’t be indicted in court. My question is then why don’t the Dems impeach based on the crimes Tibs is saying Trump committed?

It happened before he was President.

Impeachment is for conduct while sitting in office.

Cohen is in jail for not paying his taxes.

He's not in jail for anything to do with the 2016 election. You're pushing false news because you're too programmed to read court filings for yourself and are still relying on proven liars and manipulators to interpret them for you.

At least Mitt isn't carrying Putins water

It now seems that not all Senate Republicans are intent on mimicking Kennedy’s example. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) commented to reporters: “I saw no evidence from our intelligence community nor from our representatives today from the Department of State that there is any evidence of any kind that suggests Ukraine interfered in our elections. We have ample evidence that Russia interfered.” He dismissed Kennedy’s reliance on news reports that the senator from Louisiana falsely claimed implicated Ukraine. "We have to adhere to the facts that’s presented to us by our intelligence community. And I know some people will look at newspaper accounts and say, ‘Gee, this is what I read in the newspaper,’ Romney said. “But not every article is exactly accurate, and sometimes your articles are being promoted by an intelligence source that is trying to push a narrative that is not in our interest.”

Michael Gerhardt (University of NC Law Professor)

President is guilty of bribery, obstruction of justice, obstruction of congress.  <_< Another "impartial witness!!"

Whoohooo!! Did Nadler put out a call for nutty, smug, partisan hacks? If so, he got some "good" ones.

that’s not true. At best it’s unclear.  There is precedent for impeachment of district judges for conduct before he was in office.

If Dems thought they had him on that, we’d have seen this charade last year. Point is they don’t, and Tibs still can’t point to a single “crime” committed by this president. No one can.

They had him under a FISA and were searching for anything they could pin on him.

And found nothing.

Full stop.

JRober is an NPC. He can't square the above in his own head, because it destroys what he's been programmed to say/think/feel about Trump's "crimes", thus he ignores it. It's cognitive dissonance in real time.

This is him in real time reading the above:

They've also all written editorials calling for Trump's impeachment, and are simply reiterating them.

Gerhardt's now calling for Trump's ignoring congressional subpoenas a reason for impeachment.  Because obstruction of Congress is impeachable.  Unless you're Eric Holder.

How have we lost our way to the extent that Jerry Nadler, who has hated Trump for decades, is running a committee to put forth Trump for impeachment in the House? How can anyone take this committee seriously when it has Hank Johnson, the guy that wondered if Guam might tip over, sitting on it? Witness Pamela Karlan sounded as if she was at a campaign rally trying to convince people of "something". Constitutional Scholar, my ass.

Untrue.  The Judiciary Republicans have been given <20 hours.  Democrats had plenty of time.  The hearing will be substantially less useful if Republicans are given time to prepare.

Even Trump’s lap dog Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) was not going to buy into the Trump lie on Ukraine hacking the Democratic National Committee. “It was the Russians. I’m 1,000 percent confident that the hack of the DNC was by Russian operatives, no one else,” he told the media Tuesday. “I’ve got no doubt that it was the Russians who stole the DNC emails. It wasn’t Ukraine. Russia was behind the stolen DNC emails and [John] Podesta and all that good stuff.” He added, “So as to the Ukraine, they had zero to do with the hacking of the DNC and the stealing of the emails. Whether or not people from the Ukraine met with DNC operatives, I don’t know. All I’ve seen is press reports that no one has validated.”

Anti-Trump guy thinks these proceedings are dangerous.

Chairman Creosote must be regretting calling Turley right now.
