All other countries have violent video games, mental health issues, violent movie etc. the sad part about this is it becomes a political debate. Not wanting to hear about people getting randomly murdered should transcend political backgrounds. But lets keep doing nothing. It seems to be working. It’s just sad that some many people accept this as normal. Walmart, churches, schools. Yet we do nothing. You can love this country and also be sad that this has become our new norm. Odds are given how often this happen, it’s going to affect someone you (maybe yourself). It would be nice if something came out of innocent people getting murdered. Words have meanings, and it’s dishonest to attempt to massage and manipulate the meanings of words because it comports well with your personal politics. Its also absurd to attribute these crimes to a specific race, cause, or ideology; these crimes have been committed by whites, blacks, Arabs, Asians, etc. they have been committed by registered Democrats and registered Republicans. Hatred is not mental illness, so don't stigmatize the mentally ill by lumping them with mass murders. These mass murderers aren't acting irrationally. Most plan their killing sprees over time, collecting their weapons, making their plans, writing their manifestos. They're filled with hatred towards people who have done nothing to them. If found mentally competent he should be jailed, if not he should be detained in some type of mental asylum.
