It permeated EVERYTHING after years of living there. I try very hard not to judge, but there can be consequences. The house sold well below value in the neighborhood, but WOW. . I'm with you--I have read all of the health benefits and sure that's great, but I just eat it because it's delicious. I used to travel to India often and the smell was in every restaurant. There were 3 or 4 different dishes that all tasted about the same (not very good, IMO) but were slightly different colors.
