This sounds very troubling to me, either they were piss-poor planners, fly by the seat of their pants people, or he was playing a huge sympathy card. To be honest, I think he is full of sh8t on this issue. I think he would say or do anything politically to gain an edge. He has some history here dating back to the death of his wife and child where he was alleged to have changed some of the facts of the accidnt to appeal to voters.
