How did it get sent to the kid tho?

She denies it and so does the x-boyfriend.    Something about an accidental "AirDrop"???

I love the suggestion in the story that the school was trying to embarrass her when they asked whether or not the picture was her.  I know you have to try whatever you can when you're suing someone, but that's one hell of a stretch.

This is the part that bugs me most, if that was my wife or daughter some one would be taking a beating.

That photo should not have been shown to any more people than necessary, I do think she has a strong case.,

How did it get from the kids phone to a computer, sounds like the admin was distributing it.

But you can't confront an employee about anything controversial (email, picture, crappy drawing, whatever else...) without actually presenting to them the controversial item.  Maybe there might be better ways to handle it, having specific people in the room, but what was described in this case is hardly something to realistically hold against the school.  But hey, you're suing them, so you throw every last piece of crap you have against that wall.

In this specific case though, if you're looking to hand out beatings, there's an incredibly obvious place where you should be starting that search, seeing as how only two people originally have that picture.  Maybe the ex let the picture out accidentally (someone stole the phone and found the picture, that's definitely possible), but there's no more obvious place to start the search for who to beat.

My son told me that kids were sending nude selfies in 8th grade.  It's practically the norm in high school.  Sad.

Oh that would definitely happen.
