She wasn't disbarred but had her license suspended in 2002 for failing to keep up on her continuing education.

And got it back three months ago.

I guess because the "substantial threat of harm" she poses is...y'know...funny.

Trump’s afraid to face him in a one-on-one debate on MSNBC.

CPL will get his chance when he wins the dem nomination for president. Trump won't be able to run from him then.

According to Monday’s filing, Avenatti may face yet more charges. The government is still presenting evidence before a grand jury, his lawyer said.

More street cred for his 2020 bid!

Imagine going to prison for "helping" Michael Avenatti.

IRS staffer pleads guilty to giving Avenatti confidential info about Cohen

An IRS staffer who authorities say gave former Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti financial information about former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty Wednesday to gaining and distributing that information illegally.

John C. Fry had worked as an investigative analyst with the IRS Criminal Investigation Division when he in 2018 downloaded five Suspicious Activity Reports connected to Cohen and his company, according to NBC News.

So CPL and his attorneys think that admitting they actually had dirt on Nike to blackmail the company with is a good thing?

Can he put himself into the Democratic primary from prison?

I guess anything is possible for a Demonrat.

He should announce his candidacy. It’s an bulletproof grant of immunity from prosecution and media investigation. You know - protection afforded by The Biden Rule.

The Biden rule? You mean Trump is not going to appoint him to the SCOTUS in 2020?

Obviously that’s another reason to impeach Trump. He refuses to nominate people of character and integrity to the highest bench. Instead of legal scholars like Avanetti who is a proven legal warrior, he put drunks and rapists on the SCOTUS.

Avenatti Defense Goes Full Gator!

Quote

Avenatti's lawyers asserted in their papers Tuesday that Avenatti late last winter was seeking between $15 and $20 million to conduct an internal probe within Nike after lawyers for the company indicated they were interested in such a probe.

The "he's a good guy who was only trying to help" defense is not going to go very far.

Michael Avenatti was $15M in debt when he sought $25M from Nike in extortion plot: prosecutors

By Dom Calicchio | Fox News

California attorney Michael Avenatti was deeply in debt, owing money to former clients, former law partners and two ex-wives – for alimony and child support -- when he tried to extort $25 million from sports apparel giant Nike, federal prosecutors claim.

The lawyer who became a national figure when he represented porn actress and stripper Stormy Daniels in her case against President Trump was in arrears to the tune of “conservatively, in excess of $15 million,” the authorities assert in court papers filed late Christmas Eve in New York City.
