Typical leftist. Nothing is ever his fault. It's always someone else doing something else that no one else understands.

You didn't try to extort Nike. Someone else made that happen.

Nothing more enjoyable than watching a corrupt, leftist POS going down in flames.  Love how this one is making enemies all the way down.

Does this idiot really think that attacking Nike somehow eliminates the evidence that he tried to extort Nike?

He's still following the Trump strategy vis-a-vis Stormy.  He truly doesn't understand the difference.

Any chance of exoneration?

The man took a shot at The Donald and was very unsuccessful, he is going to taste the wrath of the system he tried to rise up.

his $$$ picture will be a burden for the rest of his life

the US doesn't play games when it brings you in on conspiracy or extortion charges, white collar and drug crime is dealt with heavily, it helps facilitate the plea bargaining process

on a matter i worked on for a Canadian working in the US, he would have faced restitution orders of $250,000 up here, down there he was arrested looking at 15 to life...

cripes, i worked for half a year in the US on behalf of the Canadian corporate interests to try to help value the damages and get their books back into reality.

the Feds were there in less than an hour with a pile of charges drawn up, it was very impressive

to me... it was too much though for a loser who stole $250,000 for which the assets were easily seized

Michael Avenatti, former attorney for Stormy Daniels, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in California on 36 counts, including embezzling from a paraplegic, court documents show.

The indictment expands on a criminal complaint filed against Avenatti earlier in California and includes allegations of impropriety by Avenatti against former business partners and two additional clients. Officials with the Justice Department and the Internal Revenue Service were expected to share additional details on the indictment Thursday.

Avenatti faces charges of wire fraud, failure to collect and withhold payroll taxes, attempting to obstruct the IRS, failing to file tax returns, aggravated identity fraud, bank fraud and false testimony under oath during bankruptcy.

So we should expect a bounce in his poll numbers any time now....

This is brutal. How did NO ONE report on this the entire time Avenatti was the left's hero?

Sounds like those who were reporting it were ignored/buried by the MSM because it didn't fit the #orangemanbad narrative.

What a surprise.

The evil, disgusting, anti-American, fake, conspiracy theorists, all encompassing Trump-hating, scumbag media were creaming all over this guy to bring down Trump.

Avenatti was the hero to Trump being bad.

Ok, got it.

Forget the Russian collusion delusion.........................

How can anyone trust a word that MSM tells you when they were parroting the biggest scumbag known to man with this Avenatti douche.

CPL is worse than Craig Carton.

I want to pile on as much as the next guy but this is downright frightening! How in the world does a guy like this dominate the news cycle for months on end? Isn’t anyone at these networks doing their job of checking into anything anymore? This has become worse than predicted in the 70’s movie Network. “ I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore !”

Yes, they are, and it's critical to further the narrative.

I like how they gave Avenatti Lex Luthor's color scheme.

Seems appropriate in retrospect.

For the majority of the outlets which MA appeared on, their "job" isn't to inform but to deceive/mislead/protect the narrative.

That's CNN.

That's MSNBC.

That's Fox.
