Where’s the map?

goes up late Wednesday morning IIRC.

Since we’re playing God’s Gift to the Sports World, I’m guessing we’ll be on in a decently-sized area of the country unlike the last few weeks.

I didn't know the state of Kansas cared so much about this game.

Top seed competition. ?

Houston and Philly the majority of the West?   poor suckers

Aren't the Chiefs fighting for a first round bye with the Pats*? Or is that wrapped up now that the Pats* lost 2 in a row?

I'd say yes

As of now the playoffs line up like this:

1. Kansas City

2. Houston

3  New England

4. Pittsburgh

5. Los Angeles

6. Baltimore

Home Field Advantage and/or a first round bye is still possible for the Patriots*, but they need the Chiefs and/or Texans to lose. Even if the Chiefs did lose, they would also need the Chargers to lose.

NFL TV Viewership Up 9 Percent for Week 15

The NFL continued to see improved television viewership in Week 15.

Overall viewership for the eight broadcast windows — Thursday night on FOX and NFL Network, two Saturday games on NFL Network, two games Sunday afternoon on CBS, one game Sunday afternoon on FOX, Sunday night on NBC and Monday night on ESPN — were up 9 percent compared to the same broadcast windows in 2017, via Sports Media Watch.

The most-watched game of the week was Patriots-Steelers on CBS, which drew 24.57 million viewers. That was actually down from last year, when CBS also showed Patriots-Steelers and drew 26.883 million viewers. But that decline was offset by double-digit increases for FOX and for CBS’s early Sunday game, and by the huge increase for ESPN on Monday night.

The NFL’s ratings have rebounded this season after two years of declines, and in a year when many of the other staples of broadcast television have seen audience decline, that’s good news for the league.

After a volatile 2017 in sports media, things were a little bit calmer in 2018—sort of. Over the past 12 months, there were still plenty of ups and downs, newsworthy moments, developing trends and memorable performances in the world of sports, media and the internet. The SI Media Awards recognize all of these things, so without further ado, we present to you the 2018 winners.
