I think Brooke needs to get laid. She will be a happier person.

I don't know. I mean, the evidence is overwhelmingly clear. If you're conscious enough to post on a message board, you should be conscious enough to know staged photos.

Facts mean nothing to leftists.

Photo's legit imo- there will definitely be cameras covering these folks as it's a news event. This is I believe another shot a few minutes later:

Camera guy in blue is running as are the rest. Tear gas (like pepper spray, etc) is immediately effective: once it's on you there's no option but to get away. First photo shows one canister beginning to disperse, second has another and the cloud developed...that's when people start running.

Without further examination there is nothing proving those canisters are full of tear gas versus being elaborate smoke bombs.  If Hollywood can fake it so can a motivated political group with an agenda.

You'll have to believe the US is launching an attack in to Mexican soup for this. <Possible>

You'll have to imagine if so that this was prevoked <likely>

You'll have to ask yourself is why the USA defended itself <defend BPA&troops>

You'll have to ask yourself if this is a civil means to stop unrest? <Probably best option>

And then... Ask yourself why question what is only shown in a picture and not a full video first.

And when all is said and done do you believe there is a better option for these folks trying to sneak in to the US illegally and by force under the guise of asylum by means of a much larger movement to degrade our borders and country?

Look for the CNN crew.  They're equipped with gas masks when tear gas might be used.

My answers to these questions aren't very exciting...both US and Mexican authorities were attempting to crowd control. It was provoked (from what I understand) by unrest amongst a group of migrants that led to them attempting to dig or climb the border wall. I'm not certain of whether rocks were thrown or tear gas was fired first, but either way one was in response to the other. I don't know if I'd call this a case of a country 'defending itself', that's pretty strong language for what amounts (IMO) to a not-all-that-unusual immigrant management situation. Stopping unarmed civilian unrest through force is either typically or should be (again, my opinion) a government's last resort. I'm not sure why we're using photos versus video in this thread, but there's lots of video out there if you want to see for yourself.

I don't believe this is part of a much larger movement to degrade our borders and country. I think there are many more effective ways of accomplishing those goals.

Also, WWMD? That’s right, what would Machiavelli do? Seriously, if you shoot to kill a few of them, it’d be the best thing for everybody (aside from the half dozen people that got shot). It’d deter future caravans. It’d incentivize Mexico to ramp up efforts to keep their southern border from being invaded. But, we’d definitley be subjected to another Jim Carrey painting and John Cusack frowny face tweets.
